Hi Everyone.  Newbie guy here, who's read the manual, but still unsure.  I'm very professional and discreet, and super paranoid about meeting this provider at my hotel room and her turning out to be LE.

She is independent and only does outcalls at night M-F.  She very occaisonally posts on backpage and cityvibe (like 1 post every 3-4 months)  She has 2 aliases.  Under one of the aliases, she only has 1 review on TER.  The guy that reviewed her has seen 20+ providers, is not white-paged reviewed himself (i.e. has no providers who recommend him), but has listed her contact info and cityvibe weblink.  

Under the second alias, she has only 1 TER review.  The guy who reviewed her didn't list any of her contact info or website, but has been with 50+ providers and is recommended.

We corresponded via email and set something up for Monday night.  I suggested doing a 2 call system where she'd call me on my tracphone and she agreed.  She did not request any screening info from me, which makes me wonder.

My question is, has anyone heard of LE infiltrating TER and writing reviews for providers so as to lure unsuspecting hobbyists into being busted?  From the situation above, do you think she's undercover LE or unsafe due to the fact that she only has 2 reviews and didn't request screening info from me?

No, I haven't heard of such.  However, yes, it is possible.

One of the reasons why  veterans preach only seeing well reviewed ladies (min. 4 reviews all by reviewers who have a history of multiple reviews over time).  The more reviews the lady has the less likely she is LE.

What you are suggesting is a lot of work to get one guy in his hotel room, but it's possible.

Getting one bust out of it hardly seems worth all that effort.

If a guy with 50+ reviews has seen her it sounds OK. His reviews must go back a few years to have that many.

That's a big investment in time. Do the other ladies he has reviewed have more than 1 review?

Nothing is ever a 100%. The best way to reduce the risk is choose ladies with a lot of reviews. Here in NYC that's not hard.

being a John is a misdemeanor in most states, punishable with a fine or some jail time (probably only for repeat offenders). Setting up Fake websites, fake TER accounts and fake reviews to catch a John here and there is probably too much work for the local PD for the payoff it would create.

That is not as many reviews as I'd prefer... but it seems both reviewers are crediable.  How are you sure the second review (no contact info) is her?  Link to her ad?  

That she has ads over time, says she's in the business...  LE would not use the same ID again, if they used it for a sting.  
She's probably ok, but the question remains what the experience was like for those 2 reviewers.

It's always safer to use well reviewed providers (6+) by reviewers (at least some have multiple reviews.

Do your due diligence (including Googling the phone number) and then you pays your money and takes your chances.

Spend some time checking the other reviews of the 2 hobbyists that the provider that you're interested in saw. If both reviewers have a rich review history, the lady is most probaly ligit. I agree with those that posted that law enforcement would not go through the effort that you imagined them going through to arrest a single hobbyist at a time in his hotel room. If you were a high value target (rich, well known or famous, a bigtime POL), I can see their efforts bearing fruit, but if you're an every day guy they are unlikely to waste their time.

As was posted, a little paranoid is a good thing.  If you've read the Newbie Manual & several pages on this board...  you know how the game is played.  
Don't go all flaky...  no need.  Have the donation ready.  Do not mention sex.  You both know why you're there.  Just start making out & let nature take it's course.
