Seems like there is a new thread re. verifications for newbies every day. Just wanted to pass along my experience.
I registered with P411 last night. Yeah, I was a bit freaked out as I gave them some of my personal information (I'm a co-owner of a small business so the only person who can verify my employment is my business partner).
I got a direct call from them today and they asked me a few questions to make sure I was who I said I was. EXTREMELY discreet and professional.
FYI, when you register, they give you an opportunity to explain your situation (ie. if you are self employed....worried about them calling your work, etc.). They can work around these things.
As many have said, you can't participate in P4P if you aren't willing to at least take some very calculated risks. P411 is a pretty darn safe calculated risk based on my experience so far. Let's face it, their business involves safety and confidentiality...for both providers and clients. They have no vested interest to violate that on either side.
Gina runs an extremely professional and valuable site..they are prompt..efficient..and courteous..this is no easier way to book a session especially if you are a newbie..the best investment you could ever make..

I have recommended many newbies contact Gina using her toll-free number. She has a good rep for working with guys that have difficulties getting verified. I'm sure she appreciates the compliments you have given her and her site in your post.
It's unfortunate that there are still a large number of providers who are not taking advantage of P411. Some of them do not know their existence so they rely the old method of verification with 2 references with your previous providers. The downside of that is that sometime it will take longer than expected (delayed reply from previous providers) which may make the original appointment time impossible. I have learned that there are some providers were kick out of P411 for various reasons which makes me want to use P411 even more during my selection process.
I just looked back at my experiences over the last several months and realized that almost all of them have been with P-411 gals. I didn't plan it that way; it just happened. I guess everything will always seek the path of least resistance.
I have often thought of joining p411 because I've been turned down by some providers because they could not verify me. I'm not sure what info I will need to give and I also wonder if LE could get "approved" and simply have other members of LE "verify" that you are who you say you are whether they are posing as a male or female? I suppose I sound paranoid but could anyone prove to me that my concerns are not valid?

It's not paranoid for you to wonder about this. It's smart.
I haven't heard of LE every getting approved on p411 as a member. The providers are also verified in some way. I'm not sure what their requirements are, but the providers are not going to be LE.
There was a situation where someone was arrested, the police talked the person into giving up their p411 account information, then they proceeded to use that account info to book appointments and arrest some people.
When this happened p411 immediately notified all of the users that this had happened, thus minimizing the damage that was done.
It is extremely important for us to all protect this community from being infiltrated. P411 is great. I use them all the time and I recommend p411 to newbies who contact me without a reference. I have seen many brand new p411 memembers and will continue to do so. I trust p411. But, if someone gives away their p411 info, then that's out of p411's control.
I'm so pleased that you posted this awesome report of your experience with p411. I wish more new people could realize that you need to take a little risk to minimize the risk of the providers.
Don't forget to utilize the p411 appointment request forms. Those are great.
And, also remember to sent an "okay request" to your provider after your appointment to start building your reputation as a desireable client.
