So say im arrested during an incall in Florida. Where do i go from there? I mean other than jail. What steps should i take during and after my arrest?

1. Who long do they keep you in jail if you dont bond out?

2. What kind of penalty do first timers ussually get?

3. What if im being persuaded to narc out a provider?

4. Do people actually go to prison for doing this?

I dont know it seems like such a funny thing to go to prison for. Funny in a serious way. I been outa trouble most of my life, id hate to do hardtime because i wanted to have a good time.

" What if im being persuaded to narc out a provider?"

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. You have the right and the duty to remain silent.     Even Judges despise snitches..

Exceptions..Murder and child abuse ..Its not snitching, merely necessary justifiable testimony for the good of all.

Keep in mind that the way of doing things can vary from state to state and also that the offense is a misdeamor on a par with speeding or similar activiies.

1. They generally will get you out right away unless you are on probation or parole.

2. A fine and maybe court costs if it comes to trial.

3.  You shouldn't say anything to incriminate yourself.  In most cases by ratting out a person you are just testifying against yourself and making the cop's life easier for them.  Don't count on seeing any gals in the know if you do that.

4.  They would have to be picked up for something worse than just prostitution or it would have to have been your 100th arrest that year for a judge to tie up valuable jail space for your sorry keester.

So, relax!

The only real way to get arrested is as part of a sting.  Unless the provider is LE there is virtually no way it can happen...even if a hotel manager sees a different guy entering a room every hour holding a stack of $20's and leaving with a smile and empty pockets what is going to happen?  The idea that he will complain to LE, they will get a search warrant, show up and barge through the door is so remote that it doesn't bear consideration.  Unless there is a pattern of activity in a private residence the idea that you will be pinched to "turn" on the provider is remote.  Of course LE wouldn't have a case against you either in that case but would make it seem like they did.  Of course, many people have been put on trial without any chance of a conviction just to prove a point...thus it is always more dangerous the few months before the sheriff or DA are up for re-election!!

The answer to many of your questions depends on the state in which you are arrested, more often than not you are arrested,  photographed at the scene, checked for warrants, and released on your own recognizance (ROR) with a bench warrant to appear in court.

If you have as much as an unpaid parking ticket in most states you will be arrested, taken to the lock-up, and have to "bond out"....that could be as little as $1,000 bond (10% cash) and the cost of your unpaid ticket.

With some exceptions; jail time is very rare unless the act took place within 1,000' of a protected area (schools especially), you are known to be infected with a communicable disease, or it is the most recent in a long string of offenses on your record.

There are certain quirks present in individual areas of the country, mostly legislated on a county or city level, that allow for the names of "panderers" to be printed in the newspaper, pictures posted on a web site, etc....

At the end of the day, getting caught won't necessarily ruin your life.  It will cost a bit of money, time, and dignity.  But then again...doesn't the risk make it more exciting???

Seriously, I have specific knowledge about what I speak...and have researched a lot based on the overwhelming paranoia I hear about the un-found potential for 10 years in jail for getting a BBBJ in a hotel.  It's not something to be taken lightly but then again, with planning, research, and some prudent care it's not an unreasonable risk.

By the way...does anyone know someone who was arrested for pandering???  Not a cousins friend, or I heard of a guy...but really know someone?

Go to the legal board. I am no lawyer, but if you remain silent you are better off. If you don't get nervous and mouth off, cops are left to imagine what happened between you and a provider in a hotel room. If you sell insurance, you could have been pushing insurance on the provider during your time with her. Or if you're in construction, you could have been discussing home renovations with her. Shut your mouth and let cops do the guesswork. One rule for the future, deal with your condom, control if, put it in tissue and flush it down a toilet.
