One thing you should double-check first is if your DL# is the same as your SSN. I've lived in a state where this was the case unless you requested a separate DL#. If it is the same as your SSN, you really don't want to give that to anyone. If they're different, it's probably fine.
I am a newbie and the lady I am trying to see wants my I.D number ( I am assuming the one on my drivers license ] she is pretty well known so does this sound like a good idea to give it to her ? .
If you are new to the hobby, and don't have a provider reference, it is not uncommon for ladies to ask for alot of personal information. This gives her confidence that your intent is not to arrest her, or abuse her physically. I've given my DL number at least 6 times over the past 18 months, and it has led to many wonderful visits, and has yet to come back to bite me!!!
However, it all depends on what you have to lose. I am single, live alone, no SO, and no kids. I am free to play as I like, but understand that others should be more concerned.
Don't know if you ever read the email I sent to your offline box, but if you go to the local MI source I recommended, you will not need to give out your DL license or any other info like that. I have not, not at all, and have had no problem making connections with the right ladies
