One thing I do....

When writing a review, there's no real way to get around re-entering all of the static data in the form.  I generally will type my comments in a Word Processor (I use WordPerfect, but you can do this with any program).  That way I can spell and grammar check it before posting.  I then do a cut and paste to the TER form.

It's easier to proofread a review in this way than in the little boxes on TER.

BTW, I also do this on longer posts to the Forums.

Hi:  I wouldn't bother the board with this but I sent emails to the Staff and they never responded.  I have a few qustions on reviews 1) Can I / How do I, post a review in an alias versus my user name?  My user name is my email address and I would rather not use that.  2) If I post a review on a provider who already has a profile in the database, do I have to enter all the profile again?  Is there a way to just prepare my review?  Thanks to anyone who can assist.

as far as I know you can't post a review under an alias other than your user name, I think aliases are used only for the message boards (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). So I would advise getting a new user name that is not your email address, that sound simpler to me.

And yes you have to enter the whole profile again. I know it's stupid, and there have been many comments to that effect, but that's the way it is, probably a computer thing.

First of all, you never should have used your e-mail addy for a username. Bad idea because you cannot submit a review using an alias. Obviously you are aware that you can post to the discussion boards using one. As for profile info, yes you do have to complete  the profile form. It's a pain in the ass and is time consuming but that's why you get 15 days of VIP time when you submit one. I would suggest e-mailing support to see if there is a way to change your username. If there isn't then just create a new profile for yourself that isn't your e-mail addy.

Staff can change your username with a good reason.  They did it once for me some time ago.

I emailed Staff many months ago about why it's necessary to re-enter a profile.  He said it really does help keep the data accurate -- anyhow, that's the stated reason and I see some truth to that, while acknowledging it's a pain in the ass.

Re Staff not responding to your emails -- in the past whenever this has happened to me, I just re-emailed him and he responded -- maybe he gets overloaded from time-to-time.
