How do I acquire great clients and honest reviews as a newbie?

Here's what you need to do:

1.  Education:  Read the Newbie/Self Help Manual that you'll find linked on this page.  Also be a faithful reader of this board.  You will learn a lot here.

2.  Get yourself a good website with excellent photos.  Use a professional photog.

3.  Mix it up on the boards, especially your local board so guys will see your name and be sure your ads always have great photos.  Also avail yourself of the photo board on TER.

In short order you'll have clients who will write reviews and then you'll be on your way.

If in your screening you find a reviewer with creditable reviews, make sure you give excellent service. In other words If he writes reviews, make it worth writing one . Always protect your brand Here and in person.  Be the companion that the clients you seek, want to see. Good luck and keep on smiling.

Don't give a second thought to if a client is a reviewer.  Just provide an exceptional service, the rest will sort itself out.

That said, in screening it can help to read a potential visitors reviews to get a feel for his personality and preferences.  Outside of that, you can also let reviewers know that you are hoping to build a body of reviews to help establish your legitimacy when you meet.  Save it for the end of the date as he is getting ready to leave, or after in a quick thank you email.

Be yourself, enjoy the time, ensure your friends enjoy their time too.

Give GREAT service and treat your clients like Kings.  Do NOT see anyone and everyone - screen thoroughly.  Be discreet and be picky too as to whom you will entertain.

If a client cops a bad attitude do not hesitate to be unavailable to him in the future.

Never take your clientele for granted.  Be appreciative of them.

I agree with the other posters, and I would say that one of the most valuable characteristics you can cultivate as a provider is:

Empathy.

Gentlemen come to see us for a multitude of reasons, sex sometimes being one of the least important. When you can start to read and react to the underlying desire of your visitors-- whether it be validation, companionship, excitement, even redemption... you will find that you'll create a loyal and appreciative client base.  

From that, you will find great satisfaction, I hope. I know I have!

I'm new to the industry and I have a business background. Managing my own marketing and really learning the industry takes work. I like your comment about not seeing everyone and anyone. When starting out it can be tempting to be too inclusive. What has really been a nice surprise is the open and honest discussion forums.

While I agree, don't see everyone...  It isn't safe, it isn't always profitable and some guys aren't worth the drama or the demands they make.  That being said...  Don't make guys jump through too many hoops either.  Don't start out at $800/ hr if you are an unknown, why would anyone pay through the nose for someone with no history and no reviews?  Look around your area, see what the going rate is for girls that offer similar services to you who have similar looks.  Read their reviews and think about how and why they charge what they do and follow suit.

If you start getting great reviews, then slowly increase your rates, start touring maybe, develop a following.  If you are THAT hot, that good, etc.  then maybe you are worth $800/hr.  (Out of my price range, but some guys, yeah).  Think about how much you want to make per week, per month, then think about how much volume you want.  volume will probably go up with lower rates, but then again you might end up making way more in the long run.  Think business, treat your customers like kings and you will quickly develop a stable of regulars who will probably see you even at higher price points, though they will grumble at every raise in price.

Just being honest with life as I see it.  There are tons of hot providers out there with 9s and 10s whom I will never see because no piece of ass is worth paying more than my mortgage payment for a month for one measly hour.  Yet there are also hot providers out there (also with 9's and 10's) whom I will, and have seen, that are within my price range, or slightly above, so that an extra coupla days of saving gets me in to see her anyway.

As a newbie, don't price yourself out of the market.  Leave that for your elite courtesan phase in a year or two.
