People who know people tell them about them.

You have to be recommended by someone on the inside.

There is a Meet and Greet Board on TER.  Check it out and you will learn more about them.

They can be a lot of fun.

I overheard a provider talking to her friend abut a "Meet and Greet". Sounds interesting. Just how are they arranged and how does one get invited?

One of the biggest advantages is that you get to meet . . .

lots of providers in person as compared to photos on a web site that may be outdated, touched-up, etc.
