One more thing to keep in mind ...

Not all ladies with P411 listings actually use the site all that often.  When you look at a profile, it will tell you when she last logged in.  It she hasn't done so recently, you're fairly likely to find that you won't get a response.  So if at all possible, look for newbie friendly providers who also seem to be active users of P411.

So I'm a newbie and I'm on P411. A question for providers.

It seems like I can put a prescreening request in and I don't receive a response. I've even asked through pm's on here for availability and include the fact that there are no references and I still don't get a response from providers.

Can someone out there tell me if I'm doing something wrong? I mean, it seems a little presumptuous of me to schedule a time when I haven't contacted the provider first, but it also seems like the prescreening requests are ignored. This has happened multiple times to me, and I'm just a little frustrated

Many girls don't like the pre-screening request because they feel like it's a waste of time.  For the record, I am not one of them -- I have no problem with the pre-screening request, but I have seen some more than one thread recently that indicate that I am in the minority.

Having said that, most of us would prefer that you pick a day and time and just request it.  If we can't meet you at that day and time, we may offer other options.

Make sure the girls you are contacting are 'newbie friendly.'  And also fill in as much of your profile as possible.  It can make a difference.

Good luck.

Thanks Natasha.

Whenever I send a prescreening request, I let the lady know the time that I'm looking for, and I also let her know what it was that led me to contact her. And I don't send multiple prescreening requests at a time-I don't want to waste someone's time. I spend time on these requests-I don't just send a sentence saying can we meet-I let them know a little about me. The requests are always multiple paragraphs in length. Maybe from what you said I just need to fill out a request for a time and go from there.

Newbie friendly is very confusing to me and this is why: I have seen many ladies on TER that say they are newbie friendly and have had that confirmed through reviews. But then when i go to P411, these same ladies say they need references.  I've also seen ads where the ladies say they require P411, d-c, or two references; yet when you go to P411 they say they need P411 and references.

I've also seen it the other way around-for instance, there are ladies that have newbie friendly on their P411 profile but are only visible to those with references. I've also seen ads where the ladies say they require P411, d-c, or two references; yet when you go to P411 they say they need P411 and references.

I have sent several requests to providers-I have yet to have one look at my profile on P411. My profile is filled in as much as I can. This time I sent a provider a pm on here and within an hour it was answered. Now it's days later and I have not heard back from the P411 request.

Sighs. Confusion abounds....

I recall those dark days when I had no OKAYS on P411.  I looked at the profile and website of many a lady that said 'newbie friendly".  It think "NF" just means they are more willing to work with you on screening.  I just wrote and told them that although I had no OKAYS or referrals from providers, I would happily supply what I could so they could screen me.   No provider ever asked me for anything too "top secret" from me.  And I've found the extra communication between us to be helpful.

Even with some TER Whitelist and P411 OKAYS, many ladies still do some screening.  I don't blame anyone for being extra careful.

And as Natasha suggested, request a date/time/location.  In my experience, I've had better response from providers.  Even if that time doesn't work for them, they always written back to me trying to work something out.  I've found the "what is good for you" approach to be unsuccessful.

but I agree with Natasha.  Go ahead and request an appointment, with someone who says she is newbie friendly.  Then go about the process of giving her the necessary information to screen you.  From what I have read, you will probably have better luck that way.  BTW, one of the last things you want to be thought as is a time-waster.

Swim

but it needs to be in the context of a appointment within a week or so.  I have found that the screening went quickly & one case that sticks in my mind, we were together on the third day.

Your reply to  NL was a little wordy IMO.  And as someone mentioned being a time waster/ tire kicker is not good. Keep your request short and sweet.

You're not doing anything wrong, except are you making sure that ALL the providers you contact on P411 have a profile that says "Newbie Friendly?" If not, they are probably thinking, "Great, this dude can't even read" and ignore you.
