Seems like most providers charge more for outcall than incall.  Why is that, if they are saving the cost of booking a room to host?

They don't have to pay for the room. However while some ladies do that. it is a lot more common to see the outcall rate listed a bit higher than incall.

Various reasons for that. Here's a few, and I'm sure some providers will chime in with more.  

1) Some ladies have static incalls. (sometimes their own, sometimes shared with other providers) in that case they already have a flat fee they are paying for their incall, (by the week or month or something) so they don't save money by not using it. Not all providers work out of hotel rooms for their incalls.
2) Transportation. They need transportation to get to an outcall. Some drive, then need to worry about traffic, parking, parking fees etc. Some have a driver (who they obviously have to pay) Some use a taxi or uber (more fees).
3) Travel time: they may have to travel round trip one hour or even more, for a one hour appointment. Time is money.
4) Comfort and safety: For an outcall they are going to a strange place they don't know, in possibly a neighborhood they don't know, to meet some guy they don't know. In an incall it's "her" place (even if it is a hotel room) She may just feel more comfortable and safe in her place. She has some control. It also may help with having everything she needs with her, and not having to take her bag of tricks on the road and risk forgetting something.  
Also at an incall she can greet you in lingerie or naked. In an outcall she has to get dressed.

Here's something I don't get though. (But I chalk it up to more provider math.

I have seen rates like that listed and though I understand reasons for higher outcall rates as I listed above, it makes no sense to charge more each hour. Whether the higher rate is for transportation or comfort, once it is covered it is covered.

I have also seen rates likes these (below) and that makes perfect sense to me.

Even if you're only a 15-minute drive away, that's an extra 30 minutes total of her time that is taken up by your date.  

But this price-structure is kind of a regional thing.  In some areas (like Vegas) you'll see providers charge more for in-call for just the reason you stated. ;-

Providers charge more for outcalls because of the convenience for you of them going to your location and their time to get to your location. If they can host at their own place then you just pay for the session to see them at their location. If a provider has to book a hotel room herself then she has to make up the cost and pass it along to the client.

they just don't like doing it for all the above reasons.  If she has a static incall, it's so much easier than going to your place.

I'm self-employed. If I have to drive to go see someone, it's more time and I either boost my rate or eat the cost.  
I have to guess that a one-hour outcall takes a provider anywhere from 2 to 3 hours total. Any business person who is on the clock but doesn't have unquestioning customers (i.e.:, they're not a lawyer) will tell you that there are a lot of things that aren't worth traveling for. I don't do many outcalls, but when I look at the prep time involved, I think it's a bargain.

As a hobbyist, there's some savings having the lady come to me if I already have a hotel room, or she is coming to my house - all the things the ladies mentioned above - time, gas, parking, taxi, etc. etc. So, I might be a little better off paying her higher outcall fee.

FYI, that's a theoretical analysis as I almost always do incall if it is available

I inderstand but .........I do mostly out calls because I like to host when I am traveling every week on business.    I pay the extra fee, but I don't think the outcall fee should be for EACH HOUR after the first hour.  

For example. If an incall is $400/hr and an out call is $500/hr and I book a 3 hour appointment - I will pay $1300.00 and not $1500.00.  In my opinion the outcall fee is covered in that first hour and I make that clear when I book my appointments.  

I have not had a problem with it.  If the lady wants 500 for each hour then I will book for one hour and we usually end up going back to the original longer date.  I think this is very fair for both parties.  I will say that providers have a right to charge what they want and this is just my opinion.

When a provider is touring outside of her home state, they are paying for a hotel. Most times, they are paying for transportation. Higher costs for out calls, include the extra cost for transportation, and the extra time traveling, that could potentially take away from other potential visits.
