I started out on open adult directory, discovered TER and Eros. Now I rarely go back OAD.
I find weekly ads on my regional board, scanning new reviews, even reading ladies board posts better than AOD. I would use date check and p411 before OAD. I assumed it was a free. I can't believe people pay to be on it.
There seems to be a lot of agencies, scams etc. there.
Where to place ads is very personal and who you want attract factors in to it. Eros seems more high end to me than city vibe or backpage, CL is the bottom of the market
