Xyz has given great advise.  I would only take exception to one thing.  TER allows you to post an ad every seven days.  Do it every eight or nine days. Mthusnyou will not be Tuesday Katy!

All memberships on TER are basic memberships when you join. Anyone can pay for the VIP membership which gives them access to all info on TER, especially all the details in the reviews of providers, and the PM system.

To let others know you are a provider you can
1. begin contributing to the discussions on you local board (the TER regional board for your city)
2. place an ad once every seven days on the regional ad board for your city/area
(Be sure to check the Self-Help Center for rules on posting an ad.)

You won't have a provider profile until someone writes a review of his time with you and it gets approved and posted. Providers profiles on TER are done by the first reviewer. Once you have at least one review you can contact admin through the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page and ask for your TER handle (KatieKat1984) to be linked to your reviews. Once they do that a link will appear under your handle anytime you post on a discussion and guys will be able to click it and see your profile and check your reviews. Once you have a review and ask that your handle be linked to your profile you can get the limited provider VIP (which is free) that will allow you to use the PM system and to read your reviews. (only your reviews)

Let me also recommend you read all the info in the Self-Help Center located at the upper right of most discussion boards under the red and white life preserver. Just click the link (Self-Help Center in teal font) It will answer most of your questions. Just click the links and read.

I have placed a link to the Self-Help Center at the bottom of this post. Just click on it for access.

The only thing that distinguishes providers from everyone else is your reviews.  Once you have them, and link them to your handle, there will be no doubt that you are a provider.  With a handle like yours, I'm pretty sure most guys will assume you are a provider, not a reviewer.

Posting on your regional board will establish your identity also.  Remember, you can post an ad on your regional ad board once every 7 days, but you must have either a personal website or an ad somewhere to include a link on the ad.
