My account got clobbered and it took me a while to get access restored but here I am again. We all know that we hardly EVER need to know our TER account number. That is, the "book keeping" number or the "TER internal account number", NOT the Provider ID number. . WHERE CAN I FIND MY ACCOUNT NUMBER? I looked on the "My Account" page and I can't find it. (I sort of remember it being in a small, regular font on the upper left of some page.) I looked at some of My Reviews, My Feedback, and other My ----- pages. I know it's there someplace ... but where? . Thanks!
It used to be on the left near the top of the page on the reviews you wrote. When you accessed a review you wrote by going to My Reviews from the My TER page. The page was the review form with all the info you entered. Your handle and number on the upper left listed with other info. You had to scroll down to the bottom for the General and juicy details. TER has changed that now and only the General and juicy details are present. I don't know where that info is now because I seem to remember it wasn't anywhere else. Many didn't know it was there and BigPapasan would tell members what their number was if the asked and let them wonder how he knew it.
If classic TER was still available you could probably find it the way I described above.

I really can't remember how I did it. I think it was when I put the cursor on the subject line of a post. But I think it only worked for real handles or maybe if the poster had written reviews. Not sure. But I know that a line of computer gibberish would appear at the bottom left of the screen just above the taskbar. Contained therein was the account number. I recognized mine so I could tell everyone else's. It was a nice "magic trick" while it lasted but when TER overhauled the site, the line of computerese no longer appeared.
I joined in March, 2002 and my account number was around 161,000. When the account numbers stopped appearing, it was up to something like 2,500,000. Today, I'd say easily over 3,000,000 hobbyists have created accounts at one time or another. A lot of horny guys out there, eh?
I thought at first you just looked at their reviews but then realized you wouldn't have been able to see their review by their My Reviews link. The only thing I ever saw there in the lower left corner was back when TER had the google analytics running and slowing everything down.
