What is a "booker"

I use a "booker" but she serves a clerical function.  Since I am no always available to answer my phone, I have her do it for me most of the time and set my appointments.  She is in no way my "pimp".  I pay her to do the job and she does it very well and saves me a lot of drama and missed calls.  I wouldn't have it any other way!

It's a bit of a stretch to go from booker to pimp.  A booker is not a pimp any more than a legit agency is.  Some providers use a booker, and pay her a fee, to handle their scheduling and reference checks.  Legit agencies do the same thing.

A pimp, on the other hand, takes ALL of the girl's money, controls her every move and beats the crap out of her when she gets out of line.

I'm not going to tell you who you should see or not see but if yu read through the ad boards here there are quite a few well reviewed and very legitimate providers who use a third party to maintain their schedules.  Girls with pimps are mostly on Back Page-though, again, not all girls on BP are pimped.

Look for an established review history.  That eliminates most of the guesswork.

allows her to devote more of her time to actually seeing her clients.  They usually handle the screening, which can be very time-consuming for the provider.  The booker is in no way, a pimp.  The provider pays her booker, or assistant, to handle the mundane business of providing, leaving her more time for clients.

an interesting thread on the legal board pertaining to this very subject..the question raised was could the booker be arrested if the provider was busted..

Hi

I've seen a couple of postings asking you to call a provider's "booker" or "booking agent".

Forgive my ignorance, but would this be kind of like booking through someone's pimp?  Or is it more of a clerical/administrative function.

Just wondering if I should steer clear of this kind of situation.

The question is will it stick? Most incriminate themself or others by talking.

Now whether or not the charge would stand up in court (sorry, couldn't resist THAT stupid joke!) is a whole other question.  Both pimping and pandering are prosecuted with significantly less frequency due to the proof problems presented, most usually the prosecutors needing to rely on one or more of the working girls to make their case, a problematic situation at best!

A booker, a driver, an agency owner...anyone who derives income from prostitution is subject to arrest if the prostitute that they are working for (or with in the case of an agency) gets busted.
