Read a few posts about the strange things providers get asked about and you will see what I mean. No lack of providers out there who would probably be able to teach you a few things. There are usually more problems seeing providers because of lack of references than lack of experience to the hobby.Just be sure to let the provider know you are new to the hobby as most seem to be very understanding to that. Don't forget to study the TER manual as well as reviews! That will save you alot of time and trouble...
I'm 25, located in Boston (if any specific people in that area want to comment), and still somewhat inexperienced around women.
Setting aside the discussion of whether or not this is a good reason to get into the hobby (I'd appreciate comments on that *after* my initial question is answered), I'm wondering if there are providers that would give more tutoring like sessions instead of full service, one goal sessions. In other words, I think I am attractive but with all the work I do, I don't have an active dating life. And as I am getting older, I don't want to be left behind and inexperienced when it comes to pleasing a woman, learning little tricks and skills in the bedroom, and just being generally romantic and attentive toward a woman's needs.
Is this kind of situation strange when it comes to this hobby? I'm not necessarily looking for sessions that go all the way, even. If I need to provide more details for what I am looking for just let me know, I don't know what to say because I'm not sure what language is appropriate here.

Usually, if you ask the provider lead the way (basically, initiate things herself), she'll end up teaching you the moves in the process. You may also ask her to tell you what feels good and what doesn't. Of course, all women are different, but you'll at least have basic experience to build on.
If you see a well reviewed (at least 5-6 reviews, perhaps more) from veteran hobbyists (guys with multiple reviews) you should do fine. Just be sure to tell the lady ahead of time that you are a newbie and want to be "shown the ropes."
