New to the escort world.

Not an escort. Would be a customer. I regularly spend three or four hundred a night at strip clubs in Ontario, so I figured why not check out the escort services in the Toronto area.

I have a few questions.

1) I am from Buffalo, NY, so I would be coming over the US-Canadian border. When I am asked by Canadian border patrol why I am coming into Canada, should I tell the truth? Is it legal there?
And likewise, when I am returning from Canada and coming back into the United States, should I be honest with the customs official about what I was coming from? I don't want to get in trouble.

But here's my second question:

I guess I'm interested in the GFE experience because the idea of a girl just coming into my hotel room and us having sex without any foreplay doesn't interest me. I want the girlfriend experience with the foreplay and all of that, but after the sex is over, and maybe during the refractory period between episodes of intercourse, am I expected to maintain a conversation with the provider? Would it be considered rude and out-of-line for me to turn on the TV to ESPN, for example, and watch that while I am waiting to get warmed up again?

Third question:

I see that a lot of people on here perform oral sex on the providers. I realize that pretty much every provider on here performs oral sex on the clients, but is it considered rude and out-of-line to not perform oral sex on the provider? I don't think I'm particularly great at it and if we only have an hour or two together then my mediocre efforts can take up lots of time. Sorry if this paragraph offends anyone.

Fourth question:

I'm not very good at sex-haven't had a huge amount of experience with it considering my age (25). How do I make this clear to the provider in a tactful manner? I know this stuff can't be discussed over the phone, so I figured that after the envelope deal was finished, and the escort starts disrobing, that I could mention the fact that I'm not super experienced and would like her to kind of take the lead a bit (i.e. more cowgirl maybe no missionary). You know? Or is this weird.

As a client (or lady for that matter), you need to read the Newbie Manual at the top right.  Also read several pages of this board so you get an idea of what this hobby is all about.

Here are my answers to your questions:
1) Going:  Am off to Toronto to visit friends, college buddies, go to a hockey game, etc.
  Returning: Visited friends, went to a hockey game, etc.

2) Don't turn the TV on.  Pretend it is a date (it really is) and have a good conversation with the lady.  You will be surprised at where this could go.

3) If you don't want to DATY, then don't.  Better yet, let the provider teach you how to improve your technique.

4) When setting up the date tell the lady you are new to the hobby game and ask if she is willing to show you the ropes.  The more mature ladies (30 and up) are better at this than the 20 year olds.

Can I ask for elaboration on something? When you say that I will be surprised at where this could go, what exactly are you saying? I mean I know it will lead to sex (which is what I want) if I pick a reputable provider on here, but are you talking about something else?

I also thought of a couple more questions if you don't mind.

1) I have heard of something called PSE (porn star experience). Does this include the escort letting you videotape the experience like a porno or no?

2) What fetishes are acceptable to share with the provider? I have a pretty strong navel fetish, for example. It's a big turn-on for me.

3) I understand that people recommend being clean shaven for the escort. In my case, my skin is more prickly a few hours after shaving than it is after letting it grow for 3 or 4 days. ...record the experience, and if they do, it will be spelled out on their website. Most providers don't show their faces on their sites, so they won't want to have sex DVDs floating around with no control over it.

2)  Ask the provider about the fetish. They're usually open to anything not involving pain (unless it's to you!) and/or safety.  If you're talking about navel worship, that's fine.

3)  You know your beard but she doesn't.  If you show up with a 3-4 days growth, her first impression will be that you have bad hygiene.  Explain it the the provider like you did here.  Maybe she'll even let you shave at her place.  Just don't bring a straight razor LOL.

4)  You will get better service if you're trimmed, and especially if you shave the nuggets.

Don't shave your pubes just before seeing a provider. It won't look that good.Shave 2 or 3 days before.

Elaboration:  On a recent date we ended up talking a lot about food, what we like, recipies, etc.

1)  Some ladies will let you videotape, most will not for fear of where the video might end up.  Check with the lady of your choice.

2)  Once you are in her company, you can make requests.  If you want her to dress a certain way (school girl or nurse outfit for example), you will need to comunicate that ahead of time.

3)  I have no idea.  I shave right before the lady comes to my hotel.

4)  Some ladies say they prefer clean shaven but you might need an explanation if the wife notices.

I would say that most of the hobbyists here are between forty and sixty. The majority are also married. I fall right in the middle age wise, I am fifty, but I am single (divorced) as well.

You may find that many of the providers will want to see a slightly older clientele, but if you conduct yourself as a gentleman and get to know your way around, your age should not be much of an impediment.

Some people here are of the opinion that younger guys should not hobby, something about learning to get it the old fashioned way first, but I don't subscribe to that line of reasoning. I had my first P4P experience at fifteen and I have never regretted any of my time in the hobby.

Thanks gagambler. I've gotten it the old fashioned way and that's not why I want to do this. I can get decently attractive girls without paying but I have trouble getting the really stunning girls into bed, and that's where the escorts come in to the picture for me.

I am fifty and live in Atlanta. This city is full of women in their 30's and 40's that would just love to jump my bones. My problem is that I am not attracted to the majority of the women that are interested in me, and at my age to go trolling for twenty something hardbodies is a lot of work. The hobby is perfect for me, and sounds like it is working out fine for you as well.

I am a newbie as well, but it strikes me as slightly surreal that someone, even a "newbie", would ask if he should tell border control that he is/was going for a hook up with a prostitute so that he wouldn't get in trouble for lying.
Actually, if you did say that, they would probably high-five you and send you on your way! :)

Secondly, are you SERIOUSLY asking if its ok to just sit and watch ESPN instead of talking to the girl?  Is that what the men do in the little village you are from, Borat? :)

Now, SERIOUSLY, rather than watching ESPN, this is the PERFECT time to learn the joys and skills of DATY.  I would hope this would get you ready for round 2 faster than watching 2 sweaty guys in a cage match fight to submission.  Just ask for some feedback.  But in the future, don't assume that every girl likes it the same way.

Hi Newbie...
From a newish provider's perspective:

1. When crossing an international border it's best not to say "I've come to your country to see a hooker", or "I was just  visiting a brothel in Canada".  As someone else mentioned, "I'm visiting a friend" or something like that, is a better plan.  
You may be questioned about the name and address of your imaginary friend, or where exactly you're going, how long you're staying, etc...so have a cover story rehearsed for the border--maybe some version of what you say when you're up visiting strip clubs.

2. I personally would not mind if you turned on the TV.  And while I'd prefer a Law and Order rerun, I wouldn't be offended if you wanted to watch sports...it's your time, after all.  Just let her know that you're not big on talking during your down-time so that she doesn't think she's doing something wrong...

3.  You're under no obligation to perform oral on a provider, or to do anything else you don't feel like doing (nor are we).  Again, it's your time, and you're meant to enjoy yourself!  If a woman is offended that you don't want to go down on her, then you're either on a date, or with a lousy provider.
Of course, it's a good skill to have in your repertoire for your free-love sex life, so you can always ask the provider if she'll talk you through it for future reference.

4.  She'll probably guess that you lack experience once you get started (although you may be underestimating your abilities).  But if it makes you feel more comfortable, you can tell her once the show's on the road.  Again, you can ask her for pointers if you'd like.
The more experienced providers often don't see men your age.  You might want to ask about this up front, so you don't waste energy on someone who's going to turn you down because of your youth.  Escorts often state an age minimum on their websites, so look for that before making contact.
If you're persistent, sooner or later you'll hit gold...:)

and my understanding is that "outcall" is legal, but "incall" is not (although I still wouldn't mention the hobby to the border agents, lol).  I have had good luck with a couple well respected Toronto agencies sending great women to my downtown hotel room; many of their providers are reviewed on TER, or another Toronto-based board you can find with a little searching.
