Customer service doesn't seem to be helping.  I have 2 reviews on here, but still have "Basic Member" status...am I missing something?

Your reviews are linked to your username, so you should already have "limited" VIP.
I'm not sure if the status changes from Basic Member to VIP Member if it's just limited VIP.

See the link for more info.
If you're still having issues, just contact the site.
They are helpful. Just be patient.

You have same benefits as a full VIP EXCEPT you can see the full details for other provider's profiles and reviews; only your own. It's possible that TER only shows two types of status "basic" and "VIP" (full)

There are some search functions that are not available to Limited VIP members, and I don't think they can make an alias either.

However they can read their own reviews and use the PM system

No aliases for Non VIPs that's for sure.

(After a gentle nudge from another poster) it appears you may be confused by the fact that reviewers get 30 days free VIP after submitting two reviews. Providers do not get free VIP after receiving 2 reviews.

However after just receiving one review, you can get the Limited Provider VIP, just by linking your username to your profile. You have already done that, so you should have the Limited Provider VIP. This allows you to read your own juicy details of your reviews and your profile. You can also make corrections to your profile now by submitting a problem report or "contact us." With the limited VIP you can also send and receive PMs. You can't read other providers' juicy details, and you don't have access to all search features or the ability to post using an alias. For those additional features you need to have full (paid) VIP.

Good luck here:)
