Can I log in from any computer?

I am traveling for a long time soon and am curious.
Does anyone know WHAT TO DO if more than 1 provider is living under the same roof using the same WIFI ??? Where i am living there are 6 studio units on this side... 3 of them rented by escorts.
WIFI is included in rent...so we all use the same 3 connections. There is also a guy few doors down that sees 1 of the girls that moved in recently.(not sure  who has TER accounts though and not sure if the guy only sees her or if he actually hobbies either. Im not friendly w them like that to know. I tend to stay to myself.
I have been a member since 2011 and never had a problem before...i just got am email saying that I have multiple accounts and that it isnt allowed. But i DONT. I have had the same 1 account the entire time.  I guess i can TRY to explain the situation but i have been living here for years and this never came up before. Noone uses my computer so it isnt that. Has to be the connection.
Basically...i dont want to get on trouble or banned for something that i have no control over.  :(  My reviews are incredibly important to me and my business. Ugh.

That someone filled out a problem report stating that you have different reviews under different names?

They are strict about not wanting people to share the same computer, and people having multiple accounts, but I have always wondered about shared wifi, since they track by IP addresses and shared wifi would show up as the same IP. I'm sure if you explain, it would be ok, but just make sure you get an ok from them first.

TER would just merge the profiles. They do that all the time. I suspect it has to do with the shared wifi as she thought.
Maybe admin will pop in here and clear it up. They do post here occasionally.

The easiest solution to your problem is not to take the wifi freebie (no free lunch) and pay for a data upgrade on your phone. If you are sharing wifi with others, you give up a lot of control. Don't be a cheapskate. Your privacy is worth it.
I was going to suggest something similar, but toned down. You only need a non-conflicting wifi when connecting to TER for business purposes (posting, PMs). You don't have to be logged in as you in order to READ the boards ... I don't think.

(Can you view the photo board if not logged in?)

Anyway, since it's pretty much all text and low bandwidth, you can probably get by with just a couple of Gb of Hot Spot or tethering from your regular cellphone data plan.

The rest of the time (Netflix, Twitter, omahasteaks.com, anything other than TER), you can use the free WiFi.

DO YOU KNOW THE TER IDs of your neighbors? You could ask them to contact TER also. As long as your ads are different, and you don't look alike, and your reviews say "real pics" it should become clear to TER that you are all authentic and different people posting from the same apparent IP address.
Mary is Mary is not Susie or Skylar.
Susie is Susie is not Mary or Skylar.
Skylar is Skylar is not Mary or Susie.
And they all use the same IP address.

(Including the photo board) without logging in. You can also read the general details of reviews. Of course you could have just tried that yourself instead of posting the question. ;)

As for her neighbors' TER IDs, it seems you missed part of her post. :)

I had ladies that are dear friends, and when visiting me at my house we may have use the same wifi if they are staying here for couple days. Nothing wrong with that.
If you saying this.. is probably bc you are guilty of the same actions?!

I am rude now? You are the rude one, coming here with your questions and being rude to those who are trying to help. Maybe you wrote your own reviews and now you made up a lame story about the wifi thing? Hmmmmm.

I had a similar issue where a client new to TER had a question and logged in on my hotel wifi. However, it was only brought to my attention because I was attempting to gain access to the Provider Only forums, which I know I cannot do still, to this day.

Because of that one situation, though that member has only since wrote one other review, then remarried to his ex wife (talk about irony) and no longer hobbies as far as I know.

So, there is a large chance you will not be forced to forfeit your account, but you may not be allowed access to certain parts of the site.

We try to be nice on the newbie board. You could have said it differently. Now you have taken rudeness to a whole new level by accusing her of self reviewing wit no evidence. Please, no more comments like that on the newbie board. Both of you, end this, now, or I will have the thread closed and your posts pulled.

I am not a techie, but have you tried using a VPN app, such as Tiger VPN or Private Internet Access?  I know some sites won't allow you to login if using one but I'm not sure about TER.

Just a thought...

Not sure that would work either. Say you use a VPN that redirects from a particular server/IP. Multiple users can be redirected from that same IP/server. Same if you use Opera and its free VPN feature.

Hence, Filtering/Blocking users just based on IP does not make sense to me. But perhaps TER support can shed some light.

There could be more here than we know - multiple users on same PC sharing the browser could be one.

If you use a VPN service, then your outgoing public IP address will be different than the other users.  Each time you connect to the VPN, you would get a different IP also, so a little harder to track.

no matter what. There is already a record of multiple accounts from the same IP address. Only TER can sort that out for you.

Meanwhile, you can use TOR browser (google it) and/or a VPN (there are some decent free ones) to generate a unique IP address for yourself, even if you are sharing the same Wi-Fi connection with others.

Good point may not be allowed access to certain part or pay to play websites.

Hobbyists/providers using the same hotel wifi, Sbux, etc. Even the NYC subway has wifi... I bet A LOT of people browse TER during long subway rides.

And so many hobbyists and providers use TOR (I'm one of them)... while I could be assigned any one of literally thousands of IP's, it's definitely possible that a few people have found their way to the same 'exit node' or whatever.

It's a lot easier for TER to track an individual machine, using cookies. I'd think that IP + cookie = definite match, but nobody should ever be banned because of IP address alone.
