I know french both ways is great but is it safe uncovered with a provider. With all the reviews i'm guessing it is.

No, it's not.  It's not as risky as regular sex, but it's still dangerous.  All it takes is for a little cut on your gum or her gum for blood to be transfered.

Depends on the provider.  If said provider is found standing on the corner and offering oral for $15 or $20 with CIM, I'd pay her the money to stay 20 feet away from me.  Capiche?

As with most things in life you should make an informed risks / benefits analysis. See the attached STD chart.

Realize, though, that there is a wide variety of opinion regarding *incidence* of risk, or the likelihood of transmission per occurrence.

And I think it should be posted in the read this first section.
I have seen so many posts on performance, ettiquete, LE, etc. but this is the first I have seen covering STD's.
I would much rather get caught by LE than contract an STD, and I would never be able to forgive myself if I ever gave one to another person.
Just my 2 cents.

I don't do things like DATY or BBBJ or any of those things, with providers.  Everything is done covered. Just a personal preference.

you to decide what your boundaries are.  Me, I gotta have BBBJ and DFK or I don't see her.  But, to each his own.

... do DATY uncovered and accept BBBJ; but since then the information available has induced me to required CBJ and use of a dental dam (Saran Wrap) for DATY.

In terms of HIV, yes it's a safe practice. However, you can get gonorrhea, etc. The SF City Clinic chart has it right. Aidsmeds forum, medhelp foruns, all agree and they're both reputable sources. This was a concern I had myself once. The CDC also lists no documented cases of it being transmitted that way.

Wow I didn't know DATY is actually the safest form of sex.

STDs are indeed contracted through oral sex. Protection all around is an absolute must!
