... but the general situation is that most prepaid cards purchased / activated in the US say in the fine print that they can't be used for International (non-US) Transactions. It used to be that you could register a prepaid card on their website with your personal info and such a payment might go through but I don't know if that's still an option. . The restrictions are due to US regulations designed to prevent money laundering, the funding of terrorist organizations, paying TERorist membership fees, and other reasons.
