Not a provider, but

Just thinking these through..
My SO does not pay the bills..she has no idea about anything going on with our charge cards..
She does'nt really check the ballances either in our various bank accounts..

I'm getting tired of pulling chunks of cash out every week for  "guess what".. If I pre-pay  a charge card for the correct amount needed .. I can charge that wherever I do the transaction.. I can charge it instead of goingto the ATM and getting cash.. OK that all works for me.. It's not an advance. just a transaction on my charge card..  I don't deplete our liquid cash reserves and can pay off my card when I get the bill
I wonder how this works for the provider..it is basicaly the same as cash.. BUT how will she verify the amount when I'm sitting there in a mood not really inclined to wait while she calls 800  #'s to verify amount and so on.. I could keep the receipt as proof.. so providers.. how  would you feel if I showed up with a prepaid card, a receipt for the correct amount instead of the $100 bills that I usually use?
THanks..

I don't think too many providers will go along with your idea.  This enterprise is basically a cash driven business, no trails for either party.  You sorta answered your question when you indicated you would not want to wait for her to verify that the proper amount is on the card.  You can't just expect her to take your word for it, esp if you're a first-time client, just not a good idea for her.  Some inexperienced providers might accept your word, but I doubt many gals that 'have been around the block' will do it, unless you are a longtime established client.

If a client contests the charge, it might be difficult to prove to MC/Visa that "services" were actually delivered. I can see the conversation with the CC company now. "Well I fucked him and sucked his dick exactly like he asked, I don't understand why he is now contesting the charge"

No that's a regular charge card.. not a pre paid card.. like a debit card where you load it up with the correct amount.. YOu can pre load them with an amount from $25 to $500.. so if the donation is say, $400, then you pre load it with $400 and it's the same as cash..

I can see why it might be a pain, but I can also see why it might be OK.. that's all..

Thanks.. I suspect that  a new customer would be less welcome to pay this way as opposed to a regular.. so you should check in addition to the receipt which would sort of hurt the mood.. (I don't blame you)..

if the card (package) is unopened yes.... with receipt.
Regardless it takes only couple minutes to verify... like...while my friend is taking a shower :) i can verify

Your post is a big reason why my highly unpaid assistants are such an important part of this forum.  I do appreciate what you and others do for this board.

to know the receipt is for that particular card in the un-opened package?

It gets into discussing payment when it's vastly preferable to do the transaction in silence.
