Just came across the site and been reading up, thanks to FreedomRider225 for putting the newbie guide posts together. I am based in Sydney, Australia and travel to the US twice a year for business and have a couple of questions.

1) Screening - I forsee issues as my number will come up as blocked from being a international roving cell. Any thoughts on how to make this process easier taking into account being from abroad.

2) Would the site be interested in Provider reviews from outside the US?

Hello Mr Lad,

I can offer my thoughts on your queries...

1.) Perhaps emailing the lady for your first contact with her and explaining the situation with your phone, would be a way to handle things.

2.)There is an "other" area for reviews and do include some from outside the USA.  Ther are also listings for some cities in Canada.  I see no reason why reviews from where you may be either at home or in your travels wouldn't be welcomed.

I agree with Web Terrorist, on both counts.  The email option is a good one, and actually preferred by many providers.  TER already contains reviews from foreign countries; I know I've read reviews from London, South America, and a few other places.

You should email providers ahead of time explaining the situation with your number, the better ones always have email contact as the first contact between hobbyists and them.
TER lists reviews for a number of international cities. You can file the review under "other" if TER does not list the city. If you file under "other" mention the city in the location. I have located some good international providers by checkling under "other" for city locations of interest.
