I am still a newbie and was wondering other's opinions on how long of an appt. they prefer. I have seen a couple providers for 1 hr appts. but I tend to be a little nervous and the time seems to fly by quickly. I am planning my next appt. and was wondering if I should try to schedule a 2 hr. appt. instead. Specifically, I was wondering if there is typically any difference other than the time? For example, do provider's tend to offer anything different in longer appts. or treat clients any differently?

on the first date. Seems to work for me.  If I real have a great time and see the lady again, I may go for a longer date, just depends. You may also find that your nerves calm down as you see more providers,  try a longer appointment see what happens.

an exception if the lady has a good 2-hr. rate ($500 for 2 as compared to $300 for 1) or the lady might have a minimum amount of time for a first date that is longer.  The only other exception is seeing someone for the first time that I have had on my bucket list for a while and circumstances just haven't aligned in order to see her.

between one and two hours, which obviously gives you more opportunity to relax and chat, if that's what works for you.

Any bedroom activities a provider offers are almost always available with a one hour appointment. You usually need to book three hours or more for your date to include other activities like dinner.

The disadvantage of booking more than one hour for a first date is that if the two of you don't click you'll be paying a lot more for time that doesn't exactly fly by. Even among providers  I've had a great time with in one hour sessions, there are very very few who I would consider for a two hour date.

for my first date (review is pending approval) in order to make time for any nerves that may show up..  None did but I still saw that those two hours went by FAST.  Also, I like to do a lot more than just a blow-n-go, so I want to have the time and not feel rushed..

I also did a two-hour date on my first time and was glad I did.  Hellped smooth out what would have been a very nervous encounter.  I also learned that it takes me 45-60 mins to recover, so I've been booking 2-hour sessions since then.  Somehow it helps keep everything more relaxed, if that's what you're into...

Once you have identified the top providers on your list, you can then book multi hour appointments.

I'm a newbie also 6 providers under my belt.  I always do 90 minutes because I'm a nervous type.    I figure I need the time to get comfortable.  I found the amount of time doesn't make a difference for me it's about the ladies approach.  I've had providers that like to start out talking.  I'm sure they only want this to last for 5-10 minutes but it seems to add to my nervousness and it ends up being 1hr before we get down to action and little time is left for the action.  This mainly happens when one of us isn't sure how to get down to action(mainly me).  I've had providers that greet you at the door with a long DFK and undress me while kissing and on to the action.  Then there is time to talk during rest breaks.  I find the last provider is up my ally.  I would say less action time means less options for fun before your alarm rings.   Just my experience so far.
