I have had 5-10 sessions with providers but still consider myself a "newbie" in many ways. Especially considering the experience of many hobbyists here. Is there a point where you stopped considering yourself a newbie?
I am still learning stuff, so don't sweat it. Whenever you consider yourself not a newb is up to you. I know from reading posts, there are guys here longer than me that are still learning, so just enjoy and have fun.
While this list has some great advice, it's really only focused on how to treat a provider right, and it's mostly common sense.
I think what also separates a noob from a pro is the ability to research and read reviews - to know exactly what you're looking for and how to get it. And maybe most importantly, realizing this is a business and to not let the big head get in the way of the little head LOL...too many noobies think they are experiencing love
This question actually gets asked on this board every so often. Answers range from "if you have to ask then you are still a newbie" and "even old timers are still learning" (as swim said in his post here) to "why worry about labels? Just have fun!" All valid answers, but the post I linked to, (and I am not the author) I feel was one of the best answers to this question I have seen. Never said it was complete, or the only answer.
