What do ya make of a provider who has great reviews on ter and then stops getting reviewed in Aug 09

Possible 12 month sentence, time off for good behavior.

How long does her review history go back?

Perhaps she has built up a stable of regulars and rarely gets new reviews.

She may have been traveling out of the country.  She could have retired and then returned to the biz.  Could be lots of things, but not necessarily bad.

For example, I've recently relocated and most of the gentleman in my new locale don't know about TER and don't wish to be on any sites that require a membership.  Therefore I don't anticipate getting a lot of reviews in the near future but it doesn't mean I'm sitting idle.

Several reasons

1-She moved to a new area that might be dominated by another board that is more popular amoung the providers for reviews and TER doesn't precedent

2-She could have died due to an accident

3-Prison (girls and problems with the law are common in this industry, specially drugs)

4-Could have gotten pregnant and taking time off

5-Retired from the business but advertises every once in a while when she really needs to make some quick cash

6-Taking a break from the industry while she focuses on something more important like school

7-Maybe she has asked for people to stop reviewing her

8-She may have enough regulars as noted above

9-She could possibly have done a operation to become a man and no longer provides as a girl (hey stranger things have happened)

10-Open slot for future excuse reason

Lots of reasons, she could be seeing regular clients only, who have already reviewed her, time off for family, time off for school, just needed a break... the list goes on

For me it means that most of my business is comprised of regular visitors who either do not review, who are not on this site, or who reviewed me in the far past.  For some others it can be that they have disappeared or worse.  Try pm'ing a few of the past reviewers to see if they know of her current status.  Maybe check some other sites as well, or email the lady in question to ask her thoughts on the matter.

Maybe she took some time off.  Providers are real people who sometimes have real life situations (themselves or a close friend or relative) that need to be delt with.

The other reason is she may be seeing repeat clients and/or clients who don't write reviews.

Now, if it was over a year, there might be some reason for concern.

And further research would be needed. 7 months is a long time in this business.

I would check the provider's board posts and ads. If she is constantly running them and not getting reviews, that may be a problem.
If she advertised on a regular basis, then suddenly stopped, that could account for the stoppage of reviews.

There are many good reasons for this and many bad reasons. As a newbie, I would suggest you move on and see a provider with current reviews to keep a good comfort level. Early on is not always the best time to take risks.

The last provider I saw didn't encourage me to write a review, so I didn't. She was concerned about too much information given out in the review based on a bad experience in the past. I always ask first if they would like a review.
