END OF MESSAGE

With all the deadbeats in this hobby, has anyone given any thought to posting a database of customers?  Obviously, participation would be voluntary, but it would make sense to me that providers might want to know what kind of person they're going to meet.  And, some of us who treat our favorite providers a little better than the next guy, might also want that information made available to all providers.  Just my .02.

It's called the ladies board and word of mouth.

RomanGent, you can certainly lead by example. List all you personal info now on this board.

Ah, but there is no Ladies Board here at TER.

I visited a lady last week and we were discussing reviews.  She brought up this very subject; she wondered if most of the guys were thick skinned enough to read reviews written about them.

A central data base serves no purpose.
Advice: I keep as underground as possible.  I run with Prepaid cellular and wireless internet, cash only transactions on all meeting with providers, CC are killers. On any interent messages be sure to include, 'time spent together is between two consenting adults' on any email transactions.

Word of month and provider okay to use them as a reference is key to getting a good name as a hobbist.  Honest and timely reviews that are well witten, fair, and graphically portraid, with tastes or distaste is these best way to your name around.

This is a trading relationship we're talking about here -- cash for service.  The service part of the deal is what gets reviewed.  What is there to 'review' about the cash?  So long as the money involved is genuine, there's really nothing else to talk about from the client side.  I for one am not naive enough to imagine that these ladies see me for my (nonexistent) good looks.

Lest this sound completely boorish, this is *not* an argument for treating these ladies as some sort of sex slaves -- courteous and gentlemanly behavior is and should be the expected norm.  But let's not forget IAATM [It's All About The Money].

Cheers!

In the form of provider references and backchanneling.  I think an informal approach is best here ... a big central database would be just one more windfall for LE to mine if the host site got infiltrated or busted.

Cheers!

I'm with elvish on all points.  Why don't the providers ask TER to set up a customer review for them if that's what they want?  LMAO how would you go like to see a bad review of you because she didn't like the way you looked, or dressed, or your cologne or hairstyle or whatever??  As long as you provide the consideration and behave decently, and she accepts that, she should provide the perfomance.  If she is good, she will reap repeat business, and possibly good revues, increasing her repution and prosperity. If she is bad, a rip-off etc, expect bad reviews. If she then went and wrote a negative review, how inclined do you think the reviewee would be to return? LOL Or others seeing that, to go see how they measure up?? If it was a great review, do you suppose the other providers would be flooding his email with offers of lowered rates etc? And frankly about LE (or whomever), yeah they can join, but give them as little as posible, IMO. I sure wouldn't want details about me being piled up in a customer database.

Interesting concept in theory but in reality and practical terms, probably not feasible. It would be nice if the providers could readily identify the deadbeats, but remember a number of there clients have significant others. I'm sure that hobbyist are not the only individuals to visit this site.

I don't know the number of deadbeats vs. the number of good guys (only the providers would have that information), but I do know that the majority of reviews I have read, (and I have read hundreds if not thousands), are positive, objective and accurate based on the consistencies of the reviewers, therefore I must conclude that the deadbeats are not writing that many reviews if any at all.

And last but not least, the providers are a pretty close knit community, they communicate with each other all of the time and some even live together. I think they have a pretty good idea (as a group), who the deadbeats are. One may slip through the cracks occasionally, but for the most part they know how to take care of themselves.

Right those are good points. The providers aren't the only ones at risk of being ripped-off, mislead, disappointed or otherwise having a bad experience. We all get burned sometimes, just do what you can to hedge your bets.

Not going into specifics, but I have heard this from 2 ladies.  There is also a great deal of back channeling that helps the ladies a lot.

I just hope my reviews are positive....please be kind.

Thanks!!!
