How often do you use the same providers as references? Especially if just starting out, you don't have many options to choose from if you're seeing ladies that require 2-3 references. Is it rude to ask the same provider for another reference? How do the ladies feel about this?

after you have a large enough group of ladies who will vouch for you, I would not use the same ones too often or too close together.  It's not rude to ask the same provider for another reference, I just would not do it too often, unless you are returning to visit her again.

and get ok's, then you won't have to continue to ask specific providers for references. TER white list references can also be helpful, but this is a ymmv situation with the white list.  Also easier to set up dates thru P411.  Finally, many providers place time limits on giving references. Many provider will not  give  a reference if you haven't seen them in 6 months. Of course this is YMMV as every provider has their own protocol as to references. You should also give the lady you're about to use as a reference  a heads up that another provider will be contacting them.  

Plus it cuts out the "why haven't you seen me lately?" type questions from ladies you don't want to repeat with.

I understand why providers like to get references in order to feel safe, but IMO it's a major PITA that P 411 makes a thousand times easier.

The good news is a huge percentage of providers use either Date Check or P411.

Also, if you care to, you can get screened by P 411 without having seen P 411 providers, They are very good about using alternative methods of screening.

but not all providers use P 411, and sometimes I guess you have to do things the old fashioned way.

What if the provider you've been seeing and ones you've seen before don't use P411?

I have provided tons of references and I am always glad to help... It is a two way street, other providers have the same great disposition to give references which keep us safe.

How do providers feel about getting references from an agency? I have used an agency for all but 2 of my encounters. One of my indy encouters was with a newbie low end BP provider (bad choice on my part), the other with an established date-check provider.
