I really don't want to give out my real name or employment, however I am finding that in order for certain escorts to see me that are newbie friendly, they are asking for at least 2 pairs of identification and access to employment information. Is there any way around this or do I have to do it? I'm very paranoid about black-mail: if the girl is P411 verified and verifed on TER should I be pretty safe? Not really sure what to do as I'm not a complete newb with this.

You are setting yourself up to meet a gal who is not concerned for safety or LE.

Patience is a necessity. If you don't want to give out the information a provider needs to screen you, then move on to another provider; preferably one who is newbie friendly (which P411 indicates).

"No" as in you think I should listen to the advice, or "no" as in the person giving advice is incorrect? I'm a little confused.

The quoted advice is not something you should take as perfect by a long shot.

You also need to frame the question about exactly what the context of the advice is? Are you trying to get in the door the first time with ANY provider or is this about general practices while playing?  

For instance, I don't have a big problem letting certain people know who I am and who I work for as part of a vetting process -- doesn't mean I share that with just anyone or even many. I have not needed to do since I get started. Part the overall relationship here requires some level or both trust and risk. Once established it gets a bit easier to manage the risk, in terms of personal information provided at least. In other words it's easier to establish you are trustworthy without providing that personal information. Starting out, as Mr. Fisher notes, those not demanding that from you may actually represent a greater risk to you than those demanding such information.

Not really sure about the blackmail concern -- seems to come up often enough but I suspect it's more a movie type thing than a real problem for the vast majority of people. If you happen to be one of the few where it's legitimately a risk I'd say you need to rethink involvement in this world. If you really need to participate then perhaps something like the Sugar Babe arrangement or finding some intermediary you trust to organize your trysts.

I know some guys stick to that method and that's okay as long as you realize and are okay with your choices being more limited and finding providers who will screen using references only.
