Hi.

Does a provider have to be a paid member of TER to leave a referral? Thanks. John.

no..apples and oranges..one has nothing to do with the other..any referral is handled personally by the provider herself..

Thanks.

But I asked a provider I recently saw to leave me a referral and she said yes she would.
But a while later she e.mailed me saying she couldn't because she was not a paid member.

So I am a bit confused at the moment.

to give you a referral on TER (whitelist). She does not have to be a paid VIP. But they have to know she is a provider. That means she needs at least one review here (which would give her a profile) then she needs to link her profile to her user name. (handle)

Check the link below. Question 7 and 11, should address the issue. You can pass that info on to the lady.

In which case she does have to be a member here, though not necessarily a paid member.
