Seeing my first highly rated GFE high end provider girl tomorrow night in the northern VA area.  Deciding what to wear.  lol  Also suspect most responses to my question will be:  who cares, wear what is comfortable!
But putting it out to all of you just to see if you have opinions about it.

As a client and a male, what should I arrive in?  Note: for tomorrow, according to the weather it will be sunny and feel like 81F.  I will also be doing a full shower before and then do a 30-60 minute drive to the incall location.

1)  Full work style long sleeve button down shirt and work khaki pants?
Pros: looks professional, well groomed?  Cons: hot as heck, I will sweat in it

2) Golf style short sleeve shirt and jeans?
Pros: looks semi professional?  Cons: hot, I will sweat in it

4) Golf style short sleeve shirt and nice shorts?
Pros: looks casual.  Cons: still a bit hot

5) Workout shirt and workout shorts?
Pros: I will be less likely to sweat and be most comfortable.  Cons: doesn't look very "well groomed" at all and doesn't look like I am taking my appearance seriously?

Sub category: dress shoes? loafers? sneakers? or sandles?

My main reason for asking is: I want to set the "best" impression with her so i can perhaps get a recommendation, whitelist, or P411 "Client Ok" from her in the future.  (really tough being a newbie with none of those things I've learned)

Thanks for your advice in advance.  Yes, I'm excited and nervous.  :)  Can't wait to meet her.

  Alex

Long or short sleeve based on your preference considering the weather. Khakis (not shorts) because it's still casual but more formal and more appropriate (my opinion). Dressing this way meets the goal of being comfortable but showing you took some consideration of how you present yourself. Nice dark socks and nice looking comfortable casual shoes not running/tennis shoes.
.

The above is how I dress for sessions. Whether I've showered before I got there or not I always shower when I arrive. (Sweating on the way there won't matter.) I have her join me if she will. Most of the time she does.
.
I know others will offer differing opinions. I know some do wear shorts and sandals. I do sometimes wear nice jeans instead of khakis.
.

Some will say who cares what impresseon you make you're paying her. You're post shows it matters to you so act accordingly so you will be comfortable with your appearance.

preferred apparel. In the summer if the weather is hot & muggie, then I will wear a nice pair of shorts and sandals.

Hint: turn on the AC in the car so you don't perspire. Also, take the advice of the poster above and take a quick shower. Be sure to ask her if she will join you. Sometimes shower play can really jump start a session.

Be clean, be groomed, wear clean clothes. not too casual like you don't take her seriously(no workout clothes). Be comfortable. You're going to take the clothes off anyway, right?

Regardless of whether she is highly rated and you show up dressed in Armani to make an impression, it won't mean anything if you come off as being an ass.  So if you want to make an impression, just remember she is still a lady and a woman.  Her career choice as being a provider shouldn't diminish that fact.

an aloha (Hawaiian) shirt with Bermuda shorts and huaraches.

Of course, if we are going out to dine at a nice place later, I'll wear light weight slacks and maybe a summer sports coat along with perforated loafers.

I've never had complaints over that.

Just kidding. Who cares? Wear what's comfortable. Just don't look like a homeless person. They'll have sex with you anyway.

I once booked a 4 star hotel and someone came to see me in his ratty sweats which I can imagine made him stick out like a sore thumb.  That being said as long as you don't look like a bum I think you should be fine.

Some guys can go to a 5 star restaurant in beach attire and pull it off, other guys can be dressed in a tux and be mistaken for the waiter.

Once upon a time I used to be a "suit and tie" kind of guy, but then about 25-30 years ago I figured out the guys who had "made it" no longer had to "dress to impress" and that it was the guys still clawing their was up the ladder that "had to" dress up.

In my line of work, no one hands you a billion dollars to watch if you're not wearing a suit.

I will concede that on Wall Street, a suit and tie is the "uniform" but the Warren Buffets of the world don't have to even wear shoes if they don't want to after they reach a certain stage in their life.

The guys with the money wear whatever the fuck they want, the guys looking for a piece of that money are the ones who have to wear the uniform.

One out of ten thousand monkeys banging on a typewriter would have produced Othello.  The same is true of the Oracle of Omaha.   Some get lucky.  Some work hard.   Some walk the plains of Midland, some of us earn the respect of clients over decades of good advice.  Same result, different uniform.

I still strongly disagree with you, but if you would like to continue on this topic we can take it to GF or P&R, but what we cannot do is carry on this discussion here.
