newbite mistake - 2nd chance?

Several months ago, I was a complete newbie and booked my first appointment with a well-reviewed provider on TER.  I had a cell phone and was at the incall location on time, but unfortunately made the mistake of not charging the battery and had no way to contact the provider with last-minute instructions at the incall location (was down at the hotel lobby and needed further direction).  So after a long hassle, and about an hour after my appointment was to be scheduled, I finally managed get in touch with the agency via pay phone and let them know what happened; needless to say I didn't see the provider that night.  The whole mistake of course was mostly due to my nervousness, and lack of understanding of the "2-call system".  So later I wrote the provider a discreet email explaining the situation, and apologizing for the missed date, and that was the end of it.  Now I want to see the provider again, and I was wondering, do you think she will do business with me or give me another chance?  I gave my real name and correct information, including a work number, when they first contacted me.

The guess here is that she would remember you note of apology more than any of the rest.  I think that you put yourself in good standing by doing what you did after missing the appointment.  If she does not forgive, then you should move on as the other poster mentioned.

Before the days of cell phones, when I was a youngster, my parents taught me to always have a quarter in my pocket whenever I left home, just in case I needed to call them while I was out. Nowadays, the quarter has been replaced by one of those prepaid phone cards. This is what I use when going to a lady's incall. I have yet to find a hotel, or at least a gas station across the street, that does not have a pay phone somewhere. The only cell I have belongs to my company and I don't necessarily have exculsive use of it, so I choose not to use that for anything hobby related. I also like the prepaid card becuase the call from a pay phone will never show up on any bills, keeping your discrete hobby activity from a SO, if need be.
As for your rookie mistake, you tried to explain the situation to them, just hope they understand and will allow you to reschedule at a later date. If not find somebody else to play with.
