Recommended for them to post on a regional board asking newbie friendly providers to contact them? It just seems it would eliminate a lot of wasted time and gnashing of the teeth. Then they could just choose from any of the ladies who responded to their threads...

But maybe there's some taboo about this I am unaware of?

In addition to some verification place like P411 it sounds like an excellent idea Sarah..  There are some "well reviewed providers" who will be newbie friendly some times if it feels right for them, and people seem to use a regional board for setting up dates frequently and it works.

is why they don't. I could see doing it on the local boards where members could find women in "their" area, but not on GD. GD is not for ads or ISOs, but banter and bs lol.

so there is no "taboo." But some of those will get moved to the ISO board and the ISO board is probably the proper place for it anyway.
