So far, all the advice given to our newbie friend has been on target.  I personally like stilltryin's the best, so I attached to it.  What's important for all you newbs to realize is that we will absolutely help you if you help us and help yourself.  This particular newbie did as much homework as he could, and has written intelligently as possible.  He is to be commended.  It's no coincidence that he's getting top-notch advice, with no smart-ass replies.  If that's what you want, follow his lead.

I am in the process of booking an appointment with a provider and because of a couple of other factors, the timing of the appointment is critical. How can I make sure to get the day I want to see her without coming acrossed too pushy or like some kind of weirdo?
Factor #1 - I'm having to take a day off to accomodate the days that she works.
Factor #2 - I'm driving 3 hours to her hometown.
Factor #3 - Classified :) If I actually meet her I'll post it in the juicy details section.
And Yes I did my homework on her and I dont think I could have made a better choice. She will be the first provider I meet from online and the base line by which all others that follow her will be judged :)
P.S. I took some of the advice of you veterans and I have to agree so far, the VIP membership is well, well, well worth it.
Thanks Alot

Most ladies understand that our time is imprtant too. Make sure you have a plan B if you are driving that far. There is a chance something might happen last minute and she can't make it. BTW take some extra covers just in case Play safe

Just tell her that you're on a tight schedule and driving quite a distance so you need to verify the time before you leave home.

A plan B is a good plan, but make certain that it doesn't have you leaving someone hanging.  After all, that's what you don't want done to you.  Fair is fair.

Plan B looks really good in text, however in practicality it raises another obsticle. A newbie to the hobby and with this being my first online arrangement I have no references. I've only employed a few locals and being from a smaller area, none of the locals are on the web. Too many inquiries at work in a short time span, from alternate verification, could possibly raise questions I would just as soon not answer. It leaves me a bit between a rock and a hard spot. I still think she is worth taking the chance, so I'll probably go anyway and Plan B will end up being a nearby strip club and having a few too many to drink :):):) and the dancers will clean up considering I was booking a 2 hour appt and I'll blow it on them.

I think that is a good plan B.  As acidom said, fair is fair, and if you had another lady waiting in the wings you would have to No Show her if plan A goes through.

If you can avoid it, you never want to No Show anyone.  If you ever find that you can't make an appointment, call the lady to explain as soon as you possibly can.

Good luck with plan A!

It is a good idea to look up several other reviewed independents and agency ladies in the area that you will be travelling to. A lot of agencies will provide a lady on a first call if they are comfortable with you and can do some form of verification. I always make it a rule to have the names and contact numbers of ten reviewed ladies in my wallet when I am to see a lady in a city away from my home. I contact them only if the lady cancels or noshow. Strippers and strip  joints are bad alternatives to quality providers, you will end up wasting all your money while getting nothing.

First, let me say I've been fortunate.  In my 18 years in the hobby, I've had only 1 no show, and only a few late arrivals.  While I'm sure I've been very lucky, I can assure you that most appointments do occur as scheduled.

A couple of things to consider in you situation –

1) Since you want to see a specific lady, and are willing to take time off and travel 3 hours, be as flexible as possible to make it happen.  If you can, give her a selection of days, and as wide a window of time as possible.
2) If you are traveling 6 hours round trip, a plan b is a must, and a strip club is not plan b.  Before you make this trip, contact the agencies in the city you are visiting.  Ask if they require screening, and if they do, ask if they will pre-screen you for a future visit.  They don’t need to know they are plan b, just say something like you are a spontaneous person, or are unable to plan when you’d like to see a provider, and want to make happen as soon as possible when the opportunity arises.  This has worked for me before.

I just wanted to give a big thanks to all the folks that took a moment to share their advice and try to point me in the right direction. After careful consideration I have decided that the strip-club does pretty much suck as plan B, so I took a moment to revise the strategy a bit based partially on your advice(s).
Plan A was to meet Provider #1 for 2 hours.
Plan B is to return to a town bordering my own and call the local agency 2 times for 1 hour each :) 1 to relieve the stress of the cancellation and 2nd one (an hour later)to take care of the original stress. (not listed on TER tho) :-(
Plan C If all else fails hit the strip-club and drink whenever I try to think.... and pray I remember where I parked :-)
As it stands now, with a lil persistance and some patience, everything is going smooth for the appt with Provider #1 and is now less than 2 days away. With any luck you guys can read about it in a few days, provided I have regained enough strength to type.
Thanks again all and wish me luck.

P.S. To any other newbs that might be reading my post... The only advice I can give to you is this. Buy the VIP membership (you'll thank us later), DO YOUR HOMEWORK!, be patient, be polite, and above all be honest with your provider... lastly, when in doubt (swallow your pride) ask the guys on the message boards for help and be grateful they dont charge by the hour LMAO!!!
