Newbie here. New to TER and have never seen a provider before. I'm a cautious, professional guy, who is extremely paranoid of LE and ruining his reputation and career. That being said, here's the situation:
want to get together with this hot provider who has 32 good reviews on TER, but NO website. She's also posted in 2-3 differnt cities on CR. Is not having a website a risk?
I initiated email contact to set something up for one of my out-of-town business trips. She responded asking where/when I will be in certain cities. I'd rather not leave an email/paper trail, and do not want to use my cell phone, so should I get a calling card and talk live with her from a payphone?
Also, if I decide to get a P411 or date-check ID, are these companies discrete in contacting my employer? The last thing I need is a call from HR asking me to explain what P411 is.
Any help/advice is much appreciated.

Having (or not having) a personal website indicates very little in regards to a providers validity.
32 favorable TER reviews speaks volumes.
I doubt P411 or date-check are gonna' roll over as readily as Yahoo and many others did for the Bush-Chenney terrorist witch-hunt subpoenas.
We were all newbies at one time. Being cautious is a good thing.
There are a few ladies on TER that no longer have web sites. For whatever reason. That doesn't really bother me much.
Unless the provider states it's ok to call from a payphone I would not do that. As many will not answer. If you are afraid of using your cell phone, get another cell (pay as you go phone). But, not from Radio Shack or other Cell providers that require you to give your info. Check places like Walmart or such.
I do not have experience with the verification companies. But, others say they are good. Just be careful which ones you use. Some are not as ethical as others.

32 reviews should make you comfortable. If you want to be extra careful, click on the reviewers name to see how many reviews he has written. In addition, make sure that a sufficient number of reviews are recent.
The lack of a website is uncommon, but some ladies prefer it. The risk you want to protect yourself from is a bad provider (or maybe LE, but I think that unlikely) stealing the identity of the good provider. Without a website containing the contact info, you can't really be sure the contact info on Craigslist (I assume you meant CL) leads to the good provider. So make sure the contact info in the TER profile matches what you are using.
She likely won't answer if you call from a payphone because the caller ID may not list a number or actually say "payphone." Get a hobby phone (search on this board for info).
The lady running Preferrd411 is very discrete. That's why she stays in business. My experience was she called my direct line and asked for me. I seem to recall that the membership form might have a place for comments. Put in a suggested script for her if she does call your employment verification people.

First of all you've come to the right place. I didn't dare get into this hobby before I came accross TER. TER is a vast institue of knowledge and gives me confidence that all of my endeavors will be safe and enjoyable. Given I follow the rules and I do my homework.
Get a hobby phone. Cheap. Walmart. Pay cash. Most you can register online and use an alias if you want. Pay as you go. No bills no paper trace.
No website? To each his own, I prefer to see some sort of website. But being that she has ads and 32 reviews, I'd say you're pretty good to go. Just do the homework. READ the profiles and reviews. CHECK the reviewers. Make sure they aren't just a bunch of no names that have one or two reviews. It even helps if one of the reviewers has a review of another provider that you have seen personally.

First of all let me start by saying that i totally understand your concern for security, but trust me as just as you are we as providers also don't know who is calling from the other line.
There are providers out there that are very classy, well educated wont even bother calling you if you leave a missed call. If you are selective then your choice of a woman will reflect your class and starndard you dont need an extra phone call book an appointment get there have a glass of wine before the session be a gentleman after that you are done.. if someone was to go through your calling list its simple it could be a "WRONG NUMBER".. Just relax.. if you will be too nervous to get your clothes off book a cocktail or dinner date.. you will be fine.. i hope all goes well.
Now that's what I call a fabulous photo gallery.. great professional shots, discreet but sexy and very well lit and composed. Your choice of photographer was a good one. And I love the unusual settings...certainly not the norm but very creative....well done!
P411/Date Check etc.....
Don't worry, they'll be discrete. If they do call your employer, most the time it's just to check and see if you actually work there. End of conversation.
I just did P411 and it was a breeze, I was approved the next day. You fill out the app, they call you and wham bam you get an email and you are all set.
Eventually I plan to try the other ones as well but for now P411 will do.

No web site is a bit unusual but not a reason for great concern with that many good reviews. Good reviews pretty much prove she's not LE, though there's never 100% certainty she's not been busted & flipped. This hobby is not & will never be risk free... nothing in life really is. We just want to minimize the risk.
Yes, get a hobby phone... I like my prepaid tracfone. Buy with cash. Register to a bogus address. Buy refill minutes anywhere for cash.
Get a separate e-mail account with a free service... yahoo, gmail, etc
Depending on your risk tollerance, consider not using your home computer or worse, business computer. Some companies monitor traffic. Consider a cheap used laptop for personal use. Depending on company policy, you might want to avoid using company WiFi for the same reason. A wireless 3G USB plug in might be a consideration if the risk is excessive.
Do not use EasyPass or credit cards anywhere you're not supposed to be. Fuel, tolls, snacks...
The 2 call system... on the first call the lady gives you an approximate location like the name of a hotel. You call at the exact time & get the room number. Be discrete at all times. Do not call from the lobby, call from your car outside. In an urban setting find somewhere private... window shopping outside or something.

What's the 2 call system for? Personally, I would never go to an incall provider. I'd feel a little more comfortable if things happen on my own turf. Would there be a similar 2 call system for outcalls that the hobbyist sets up?
Also, what's proper procedure for giving the provider her money? A common theme is that you just put the $ in an envelope in plain view, and never even discuss it. Am I missing something?

If you are providing the room (or place of session) then the two call system doesn't apply. Most guys here recommend not using your home as your location to meet a provider unless you are single and you have met her many times to feel comfortable with her knowing where you live, nosy neighbors..etc
Put your donation in a plain white envelope, usually on a table, desk in plain sight where she can spot it upon her arrival. You will not have to point it out to her as they have keen built in radar to find this envelope (lol).
Read the newbie manual front/back many times and then the 101 manual as well. You will do great if you follow those two items.

I've given the lady the general area where the hotel is or the hotel name I'm staying in without the room number. When she gets nearby (or we've talked enough, I'm comfortable) I give her the room number.
She may want to call the hotel and ask for you by your full name to see if you are who you say you are & are actually at the hotel
Just make sure she doesn't need a room key to get in the lobby or use the elevator.
