Newbie Questions!

So, I'm entirely new to this, and I've finally found a provider I am interested in (after much debate), so I wanted to ask some questions to help me get that initial e-mail out:

1)  How much should I say in that initial e-mail?  Other than requesting her services using the mannerisms on her site, do I introduce myself?  Do I give age / height / weight / measurements / likes / dislikes?  I know every provider is different, but I'm not exactly certain how that first contact ettiquette should go.  I do have the luxury of trying to book in advance, however.

2)  Do providers ever ask for pictures?  What if when I arrive at an appointment, I'm suddenly not her type and she becomes cold, or asks me to leave?  Does this ever happen?

3)  Since I'm new to this, I have no references.  What exactly does employer verification consist of?

Thanks for the advice / help!

It's back on the main page of the newb board, upper right corner. It covers a wide range of topics and questions. My next suggestion is to scroll back 4 or 5 pages of this board.  Finally learn to use the TER search feature. Good luck

1.  Take your cues from her website as to how much info to give out.  If you are a newbie, be prepared to give out lots of personal info about yourself to allow her to feel safe.

2.  It is very rare, but I have been asked to do so on at least two occasions.

3.  You often have to give out the name, address and phone number of where you work.  The provider will often call there and ask for you using some ploy such as being from your dentist's office to confirm or change an appointment.

Now go do some studying and welcome to the hobby.
