Just curios, I'm wondering if this makes a difference.

When a person named BigPoppaPumply says it, it must be true!

I discovered today that being overweight does have its advantages, especially if you have "man-boobs" and the lady is bi. =)

I always ask with an email upfront so if they have an issue with it they can just say no and money is good somewhere else.  So far none have said no :)

I am no skinny guy myself (about 230 lbs.) but have never been turned away.  I consider myself a gentleman and treat all of the ladies the way should be...with grace and respect.

Oh yes very true about the gent part.....always a plus!

i'm a provider and sometimes the guy shows up a big guy, I don't have problem with that, as long as they are gentlemen, being nice and not smelly

I asked the same quesiton elsewhere, and I got the same general advice from almost everyone who replied (providers and clients).

BTW, I'll be mentioning personal experience, and that's really two fold.  Personal experience from myself, ~250 lbs (although I'm working on bringing it down:) and talking with a close personal friend of mine who is in the "scene" and he's about ~380 lbs.

A) First and foremest, as mentioned, is being a gentleman.

B) Also as mentioned, always let the lady know ahead of time.  Just include that you're overweight, and ask if they have a problem with that (just remember to be a gentleman when asking).  Push comes to shove and they don't go, I can assure you there are at least a dozen more in your area that would give you an experience 100 fold what that provider (who rejected you) could give.

C) Make sure you don't have an issue with your weight.  I had that problem when I first started, and it made me overly nervous and hesitant when meeting with a provider, and while I had a great time and the providers I meet with didn't voice any complaints to me, it still wasn't as great as the experience could have been.  I know it's not normally an issue, but I was an idiot and felt I was forcing a provider to meet with me (not literally, but more or less being too nice for them to say no, don't ask, I'm just crazy).

Also, while on the subject, I've been thinking of going for a message, rather than an FS visit, and I was wondering how being a "big guy" affects that experience, if at all?  I don't see how it would matter compared to FS, but I've learned if you don't know something, and don't ask, you'll get in trouble.
