newbie provider confused about some basic stuff--whitelist, TER ID

When I get a ter handle from a guy I go under reviews tab then search tab then whitelist and put his handle in there. If he is on the wl it will show who whitelisted him. If there are two names I know to be "good" providers (ones I know) then he is probably ok. To look up his reviews I do believe you need VIP. Hope this helps

From that same location you can also search reviews "by Reviewer"  which will show you how many reviews he has and who was reviewed.  You will, however, need full VIP (i.e. paid) to read the details.  Many ladies do pay for VIP because being able to read the details of a review gives you more insight into a guy.  What he likes, how he expresses himself, etc.

You can also use a guy's TER handle to search the boards to see if he has posted.

Put your curser on Search in the reviews section.  A drop-down menu will appear, scroll down to the area you want to search.  You can search by reviewers or whitelist, but you need his TER handle.  As you have been told previously, you need VIP to get detailed info on him.  If you want to read the hobbyist's review details, yes, you will have to get paid VIP, the limited VIP only lets you read your own reviews details, not those of anyone else.  When you search by reviewers, you can see who he has reviewed, but the details will be hidden unless you pay for VIP.

Some providers don't place much stock in the whitelist but it's a place to start.  You can also check the verification sites to see if he a member and has references or ok's on them as well.

You have to buy the premium membership to search by reviewer and to get email. Basic members can also only see certain information on reviews. Good luck!

...try finding a post by the guy on a discussion board. Then when you see the number of reviews by his handle click on the number. That will take you to a list of his reviews with the provider's names and dates of the reviews. (I think.) TER has from time to time reduced the amount of info accessible by basic members.

I know you have the free limited provider VIP so it would make sense to me that you could see (search) white list. After all you can whitelist him so why couldn't you search whitelist. Try search whitelist instead of search by reviewer. If the whitelist search works be sure not to click the button that lets you whitelist him since you haven't seen him yet.

I'll add the usual recommendation here while I'm at it. Read the Self-Help Center. The link is on the upper right of most of the discussion boards. Look under the red & white life preserver. There is a lot of info there for newbies be they provider or monger including what you asked here

...I tried it with your post.  When I clicked on the '23' next to your handle, the login page appeared, not your list of reviews.  As you said, the amount of info available to basic members has been reduced.

Hello my fellow provider, don't be embarrassed we all learn as we go. Important part is you are screening. You really do need to buy the VIP though. A gents whitelist will be listed on his page under his reviews. I have whitelisted a couple gents and it basically means they are safe, and a bit above and beyond. You can't read their reviews if a basic member and sometimes its a good thing to read a couple to see what they like. You can also check who they reviewed and sent a message to the gal for a reference. Generally that's not needed because the gent will give you specific references but its still a nice crosscheck system. Finally if a gent gives you a reference say Nancy so and so...you want to look her up before sending reference request to make sure she is still active etc, crosscheck to make sure not legal Ahhh hemmm. You need to be VIP to do that as well. Hope this helps, stay safe and always screen but have fun too!! Hugs, Lisa

I'm new to TER as well. To be honest I'm trying to find my way on this awesome site. I do post regularly, however it doesn't reach the surrounding area audience. The only clients that do contact me are in areas like Chicago, Orlando, Tampa and other cities. What should I do to attract the locals? I've tried to lure them in with offers such as; discounts if they have x amount of reviews. That didn't work at all! My reputation is in good standing even though I don't have many reviews on this site. I do have more on other review sites.  The review links are posted on my personal website for TER members to view.

Also I'm having an issue with clients posting a review.  I don't push the issue, but it's killing me on the inside. Some do repeat and have became a regular on my schedule throughout the month. I'm open to all suggestions.

I'm still new to all of this and I understand your frustrations with getting your reviews. I personally would like a few more but my not having a whole lot has not had any affect on how busy I am. I figure if I am declining a handfull of dates each week because I'm just too busy then that's good enough for me. Also, your regulars may not want to share with others how fabulous you are. Think about it, when you come across a good thing, you want to keep it all to yourself- less competition for  scheduling on their end. At least that's what I have been told by a couple of mine ;
