Let me begin by saying that I live in an area that doesn't have any TER providers but there are ads on Craigs list with some pretty impressive looking women. I just don't want to get in any trouble.
Exactly what has to be said to be an illegal act?
Some of these ads don't give rates. Should I call and say 'how much do u charge for spending an hour with me'?
The way I see it is: When I show up, I lay the envelope on the table as I come in. If everything is cool, she will begin kissing, fondling and away we go. If not cool, she will begin asking what I want to do in this meeting. Should I pick up the cash on the way out?

Also, what has to happen for enough "ice" to be broken to discuss openly what u want to do?
John Law has been looking lately for busts/setups. Don't ever discuss rates/specific acts over the phone. Do your homework/research on TER. Stick only with TER-reviewed providers. If no reviews, avoid! Check out the provider's ads/websites and you'll usually find most, if not all, of the information you need to get started. Read the Newbie's Manual at the top of this page. BTW, there are no TER providers in my hometown area either, so I have to travel between 2-3 hours to see one. Ask question here and on your local board. Happy hobbying. Stay safe! jhb

A lack of TER reviewed gals in your neck of the woods is a problem however. How to check reviews if there are no gals with reviews to check on?
You might want to try two things:
First, contact some gals in the nearest city to you with TER reviewed gals and encourage them to come tour out your way.
The second is to go to where the gals are.
If you do see CL gals, see only those who post their rates. Getting you to ask about rates is an old LE trick. They get that on tape and you are toast. Then start posting reviews of them, so at least others out in your neck of the woods will now have some safer options. In time, who knows, things may catch on.
Also, check on which gals are on CL the most and the longest. Those are the ones most likely to be legit.

This is true, but you STILL have to be VERY VERY careful and NEVER break the rules of engagement. Recent stings in FL are still making waves, days after. Some of the girls busted are long time CL standards and well reviewed here. Now, for a deal perhaps, some of them are calling other providers and asking them to pickup and deliver drugs. They're calling clients and setting up dates...then the date gets busted.
My guess (total conjecture here) is that newbs would be the first ones thrown under the bus by a provider.
Even if you've seen them before...even if you feel you "know" them....DON'T TALK and say any of the 'rule breakers'.
The whole concept of TER is to provide information about providers. TER is the only review venue (to my knowledge) which is driven by the clients, not the providers. The provider driven sites have no safegurds to prevent self reviews. The idea of TER... to see "well reviewed" providers. That is providers who have several reviews by reviewers who themselves have several reviews. Seeing clients without this is known as "TOFTT" or "Taking One For The Team"... assuming that You write a review after. This has much higher risk. We all do once in a while but I admit to having been disappointed several times. Wasted opportunity, upsell, other scams. I suggest, that you read the Newbie manual, several pages here... & stick to well reviewed providers until you get a sense of how it should work Best wishes, skb
