Ok so I have been reading the ins and outs of the site...

a few more questions.... I would like to make myself a website

any suggestions on websites to use? I do dabble in computers but not so much in what I would need to create my own site...

also any private tips from other providers on protecting myself from crazies or da popo?

Spend the money and pay to have someone do your site.

When I started I haed a free wix.com site then I paid very little and had some guy make me a site. eh it was okay but definately a step up from the freebie site.
Then I decided to cough up the money and pay to have a great site made.

"It takes money to make money" This business is a fantasy and its all about image.

Doll, in my opinion its TOTALLY WORTH IT!

My web guy is amazing. He has done numerous high end escorts and pornstars websites.

Once you have some reviews you should join the provider only board. That way if you have any questions you can post it and the ladies will try to answer it for you.

From a client perspective, and I can't explain why this is...

I will see an ad post for a lady, and check her reviews. If she is well reviewed I will go to her website for more info and a better idea of who she is. If I am sent to one of those cookie cutter sites, I immediately wonder if she is as professional as I hope she will be, or what exactly the situation.

The DIY sites just don't convey what a pro-designed custom site does. They just make you one of many of the same.

Even though I have served as a Marketing Director in the corporate world and understand the hows and whys of advertising, I am amazed at how I am personally affected by great marketing. I can't "think away" the impressions created in me, either positive or negative.

You've done a great job with yourself and your websites Krista. You're advise is spot on.

moonfruit is good if you want something temporary until you get a site designed.

Easy to use and looks decent.

checked out a guys references and found him to be safe.  Then, give him a cell number to use the day of the date so he can communicate with you re. his arrival, room number, etc.

Exactly .. Good point bringing that up.
Of course, I have a seperate cell phone that I use only  for the hobby .
I do not post my number any where . I only communicate via email until the gentlemen has been screened. Once he has been screened then and only then will I give him my cell phone number.
