If anyone has any advice on this, I'd like to hear.
I've just gotten my rs2k verification and have communicated with a provider who I found browsing on the rs2k site. I told her I was new to this without any references and she was agreeable to meeting, even said she'd spend a little extra time with me (on her dime) explaining some ins and outs of the hobby. I haven't finalized anything with her yet because I can't find any reviews nor website for her. She has no phone number, its contact through email. Question is: does this sound strange, or is this reasonable. If she is on rs2k does that make her reputable? I'd be more assured with a few reviews on TER.

Even gals that are on RS can be and are unreliable.  I would be direct with this one and ask her if she has reviews (perhaps a different name).  If not, don't get involved.

Plenty of VERY reputable and reviewed gals on RS via TER.  And many will see newbies.

Just because a girl is on a verification site means nothing. All they did was take her damn real name and DOB to make sure she was of legal age...not that she was not a rip off or LE. I am pretty sure with P411, the provider has to have a guy who is established vouch for her, or she has to have reviews on the web. If they don't have any of that, the site is useless in protecting you. Sure, if you report her for ripping you off they will ban her, but it is a bit late after the fact.

Not much that I can add, but as a newbie, you should be very wary of seeing a provider with no reviews.  TER is not the only review site, but due to TER rules, I cannot mention their names here.  There are plenty of well-reviewed providers out there.

While it was very generous of her to offer to spend some extra time with you to give you some pointers in the hobby, but I have never heard of any lady make such before.

I agree with the previous posters, I think you should pass unless you can find some reviews somewhere.

Thanks for all the opinions and suggestions. Something about this just didn't feel right. I did contact her again and she gave me some line about not having guys write reviews for her and not feeling the need for them - however she phrased it. Something else also made my spider senses tingle - in her first response to my inquiry, done through email, she made a subtle reference to money, saying something like a man should get a nice reward for his hard earned money - something like that. Now, the first rule I've heard about this hobby is "Never talk about the money". Would a provider ever allude to this? Anyhow, even though her pics looked nice, I'm gonna heed the good advice here and take a pass. Thanks everyone.

I have found great girls that were unreviewed.  Every girl has to start someplace, and unless they have a functioning website and are somewhat verifiable, you can't write a review.

So sometimes it makes sense to see a girl who has no reviews.  If you are a newbie, probably not advisable.

However, if you are a seasoned vet, then you should be able to take some degree of risk.
