Jus joined the board and this hobby.  I'm looking for my first experience and I have a question.

When I email a provider, what should I say to them.  I have sent three emails to three local providers in the DC area.  I have received not even a whisper of a response from any of the three.

I hope I can get some help to break into this hobby.

If the providers you've contacted are asking for references and you have none then you're probably not going to receive a response. Some girls screen more than others and require a known provider reference in order to be able to spend time with them. Others only ask for some personal information. You need to give the girl the information she requires of you. If that information is outside of your comfort zone then don't bother contacting her. If you find what you think is a fit and she doesn't respond then just move on to the next one. Sometimes they're just busy. Don't take it personally and be patient.

Q: When I email a provider, what should I say to them?

A: Above all be polite and tactful (not an easy thing for most guys!)

beyond that it depends and differs. if you haven't received any reply it could be due to several possibilities

1. you offended her somehow
2. she hasn't gotten/read your mail yet (on vacation, etc)
3. she read your email, wasn't offended but is otherwise busy

she may not be taking new clients and sometimes with too many inquiries she has no time to (politely) decline every guy that asks.  best is to wait a while (i'd say at least a week) before trying again.

if still no response (and assuming you're not doing anything wrong) then forget about it and move on. there are plenty of fish in the sea!

Try Calling her if she has a phone number that may work better be polight and no not discuss any specifics

except for her fee

remember to be very polite and sincere

good luck hogan

How stupid is it to not reply at all? I run a business - we have a number of form e-mails. Customer asks general question A (has my item been shipped) they get form e-mail A (Your item has been shipped...). Of course, if it requires more specific info, we don't use a form e-mail - but I can't imagine ANYONE being so busy they can't cut/paste a few letters a day. Are girls really getting a hundred inquiries a day???

Hang in there - there is hope.  Someone will respond.  Don't limit yourself to just 3 or 4. Send dozens of e-mails - but only to the girls that you have narrowed your possible visit down to.  Don't want to get a response from someone that is way out of your price range.  I personally prefer to visit just the independants.

Good luck. After 16 reviews I can say luckily say that I've not been ripped off yet.
