I am writing this post as a primer for new providers who are trying to enter this business; seasoned providers who may have become less than enthusiastic about their job; and for anyone else that cares to read it. I am not a provider. But I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night, so I feel as if I might have some expertise valuable to the profession.

It's also fun to post things that get people to talking! LOL

Before reading the rest, grab your favorite beverage before starting. It's a LONG one!

*** First of Three Parts ***

The Big Decision
So you've made the decision to become a sex worker in an industry you probably know nothing about. I'm guessing your electric is about to be cut off and there are no groceries for the kids to eat. In many cases, sex is not foreign to you. You've probably been having sex since about age 15 or 16. I'll also assume you've had one great love in your life. He may or may not be with you still. One of the big secrets that "most" escorts cling to, is that they are usually not alone in life. Most often, they have a boyfriend, Long term lover, or even a husband. For many reasons, that lover is making enough money to support the family.

So, here you sit, the bills are crushing in on you, and something needs to be done. You heard on the news that escorts are all over the internet and you Google around and find a few ads that catch your eye. "$200 for ONE HOUR???????? Wow! I can do that!" you may have thought to yourself. However, I'm guessing you heard something more like this, "Honey, I was on the internet last night while you were asleep. Look at what these girls are making!". For the next few days, depending on the amount of time you had before something was shut off or your landlord came pounding on your door, you and your Significant Other (SO) talked, argued, or discussed the idea of you becoming a provider. "Those girls in the pictures are all beautiful models, I'm fat". "What will my mother say?" "What if I'm arrested?" "Will my kids find out that "Mommy is a hooker?" These are legitimate and important questions that you've somehow found a way to answer or ignore.

*** I will say this now for you to read and remember: If you're reading this because you are an addict of any drug and you've decided to sell sex for money to buy more drugs, turn off your computer this instant and go get treatment. You WILL be caught. You WILL be arrested. The girls on drugs are always caught and the punishment MUCH worse. You will probably lose your children and everything you have found to be good in your life up to now will be gone. YOU might be smart enough to avoid arrest, but you ON drugs will be stupid, you will take chances and you WILL be caught. ***

Despite the anxious fear in your gut, so strong that you feel like you could puke right here, right now, you're going to go through with this. Your family needs the money. Notice I didn't say, "You're doing this because you are so horny? ...You need a man right now!...That you love sex so much, what better way to make money?" No woman gets into this business because she is so horny. This is not eHarmony.com where you will find that perfect man who is rich and good looking. Your decision to enter the sex trade will be the scariest thing you will ever do. Remember that nauseous, nervous feeling because you are going to have it again. Next time, it will be much worse.

Using Escort Sites
So you've found this site, or one of the many others, and you're ready to become rich and fabulous with a great car and expensive clothing. Not so fast lady! Put down those deposit slips because you still have a long way to go. Right now you need to read! Here on this site, we have a wealth of information that, when practiced, will help you to lead a long and safe career. They say that men never read directions. That would imply that women do read directions! Be smart, read all you can before you ever meet your first client. On this and many other sites, there will often be a forum labeled something like, "Come here first" Do that. Read all the information like rules for posting pictures, ads and general posting. Look for other ladies who are friendly and helpful. There are more friendly people out there than you thought. They will have tips and advice that will be valuable to you. You need a mentor as well. A lady that has been around a while and doesn't mind sharing with you, the inner secrets of the business.

Read alot of the reviews, if you have access to them. In those reviews, you will begin to find what 'most' men want. When I write about 'curves' in this piece, I am not referring to your hips and breasts. I'm talking about statistical curves. If you plot a curve from most reviews, you'll find that the majority of men want about the same things from the appointments they make with providers. In the middle of your curve, the highest point, MOST men are there and very safe to meet with. Out at the edges of your curve, you'll find the fetishes and/or problem guys. When you are reading a site like this one, look for those trends. You should willingly comply with popular practices. I'll talk more about that later.

Website and Pictures
You'll also need to set up a website that has information about you. Every prospective client will go to your site to get information about you. Don't copy and paste any old thing you find from other lady's sites. You should carefully consider what you are going to tell people about yourself. Your "stage" name, location, pictures, and the rate you have set for yourself are all valuable information that are often woefully neglected or confusing on many websites. A well organized and clear website will save you many hours of trouble in the future. There are free host sites out there for you to use while you're first getting started, however, why be just "one of the pack"? Websites are not expensive and set you apart from the rest! They make you look like a star. Get one as soon as you can and design it to look very professional. Hire a pro as soon as you can afford it!

The same can be said for pictures. You can post pictures that you or a friend took of yourself. That is certainly allowed and most do that. But I'm writing this for you and you're still reading this because you want to be better than the rest. There are professional photographers everywhere. They know how to pose you to accentuate your good features. They can recommend clothes, backgrounds and lighting that will highlight what is best about you. You look better than you think you do. Even models on magazine covers complain about themselves. Allow someone who is a professional to capture your greatness! Remember what I said earlier, most escorts are mothers. The majority of them have stretch-marks, pimples, hangy boobs or fat butt's! Very few escorts look like a calender girl. Here's a secret you might not have known! Most guys are intimidated by those calender girls! The fat providers might easily book more appointments than the "Barbie Dolls"!

While I'm on the subject of pictures; be wary of "clients" willing to take pictures of you "for free". More often than not, he is doing you this favor to ingratiate you to have sex with him. Whether in some make shift studio, or in a hotel room, odds are, he'll want you to have sex with him for the pictures. Of course, not every guy is this way. I simply said, be wary! I know women pretty well, but I know about two other things even better! Beer,,,,and other men! Listen to me on this! Most guys who offer "free" pics are doing it to fuck you. The same can be said for guys who want to "help" you set up a website. Exactly the same things can be said!

Save your money up and hire a professional photographer!

The best advice is to network and find a mentor, an experienced provider. She will be able to explain what you are getting yourself into, and help you set up your business. I am not going to tell you how to do that, but hanging around here and reaching out to some local ladies might be a good way to start. Of course, there are other paths.

Without a mentor, this can be a lonely, dangerous and difficult job. You will make mistakes in any case, but a mentor should be able to help you minimize them.

I suspect she will also tell you not to take advice from clients. I have no idea why that is, but I do know that most providers seem to have a positive aversion to getting advice from clients (okay,  I have an idea, it is something about not having anyone tell them what to do, the advice being self-serving and most of us being clueless, but don't believe it!!).

But what do I know? Not much, but that is my two cents.

What part of those 3 threads makes you think it's NOT the best advise?

And also not entirely true. I think hobbyist tend to want to "train" the ladies into doing what they feel is in their best interests. I have no problem being given advice if I ask for it...unsolicited advice annoys the fuck out of me.

And I prefer the advice from someone who fully understands from my perspective what this business entails. Hobbyists can most certainly add what they feel is important to them. But to tell us how to hook, no, unless you want to place and ad and get some first hand experience under your belt.

and oh I don't know...fks for money! Since he copied this entire thing, I will give credit to the author, who will be along shortly lol. The absolute last person to be giving hookers advice is one who can't even play by the normal rules of escorting anyway...like paying before you pump. Someone get a rope...this guy really has ZERO friends, and gets his jollies off trying to "sound" intelligent on a hooker board. Poor thing did not bank on most providers having a higher degree than he does I bet, and we are not unemployed bwahahaha!
