New Looking For Feedback...

Hi everyone I'm new to this site.  I don't have any reviews yet and I find that is the biggest hurdle so far.  On another site, people are telling me my rates are too high for a newbie with no reviews and that I should offer discounts or half hour sessions.  Well, I feel like half hour is just too rushed.  Should I lower my prices or offer half hours just to get established or just ignore them.  I just created a website, am I missing anything? Feedback is appreciated.  Thank you.

 Sincerely, Char

So, some cheap guy says you charge too much because you are new, not for the service you offer,  I say set you price by what you feel you have to offer and think is the value of your service.  Eventually someone will write a review, hopefully honest and fair as well.

If you have a game plan, stick to it for a while and see where it goes.

It's a lot easier to lower a rate than to raise one.

You should market yourself to a clientelle that writes reviews, see my advice on this a couple of threads down the page.

Also, you can link your website to each post you make.  Just be sure it has the proper TER logo on it.

Thank you for the advice.  I had linked my website in my first post but they said it sounded too much like an ad.  I'm not trying to advertise here, I just need feedback and advice.  This board isn't very popular where I am located anyway. I will try again, I do have the TER badge on the first page.  Please tell me what you think of my website and if I should make any changes.  Thank you for the feedback.  I will read the other posts you suggested as well.

Sincerely,
Char

It does however have a great deal to do with the level of service you provide and your market.  Guys who haven't seen you have no justification to question the value of your service.  Is your pricing in line with established and respected ladies in your market who provide similar services?  Does your web site and other ads or marketing reflect the level at which you are valuing yourself?

I don't think offering half hours is a solution, especially if you feel that it is rushed and compromises your service.

Getting a few reviews will do a lot to either validate or repudiate your rate structure.  That part takes patience.  Look down a few threads for a very good marketing idea regarding offering a discount on a future session for a guy who writes a review for you.

Like every other service - until you have proven your "value" you will have to consider a lower entry price. As you get reviews and more exposure online and on the boards you will be able to increase your "donation" rates. The other option, as stated below by others is to provide a "discount" for reviews but you need to be clear that the discount does not imply only for "good reviews".
Like said before, get your website with TER logo and start to advertise weekly on your local ad board.
good luck and hang in there. :-)

ost a fee threads down.
Avoid the "best bang for your buck" guys.
Spend your energy on the ones that at good
to YOU....they're priceless!!
You can spot the good ones cuz they follow your rules without asking.

I read a long review of how the guy said "He stayed far beyond the time he paid for" and got way more out of the woman than he expected. So I guess that's A great review in the guys eyes, but to me it seems there is a constant battle of guys trying to get over on escorts and get more for less. I don't understand why alot of guys cannot respect the industry for what it is. I've also read reviews where guys have wrote, the women upsale and that is considered to be a bad review because she asked for more money. So why is it considered a great review when they are get over and bad when a woman ask for more money!!

Just wondering why men in this business play all these unneccesary games. I've met alot of guys who are awesome incredible and respectful, even guys I didn't want to leave after our time together because we meshed well, but they respected me as well as my time! It seems as if there is a constant battle to get over and play games smh

Website is pretty good though you can never have enough pictures. Understand the need for privacy and safety so face pics aren't necessary but more body shots the better. Also, and this may be just me, but I like websites that are considered wordy. I like to get a feel for the personality of a lady before I book a date. As for your rates... Don't offer 30 min sessions if you aren't comfortable with that. From what I can see your rate is very reasonable and I guess my only advice would be to make sure you are in line with other providers is your market. Your getting great advice here and there are many threads started by new providers that you can read that will answer alot of your questions. Just do your thing and reviews will follow. Just make sure you screen properly and you should be able to have alot of fun in this "game". Good Luck!!

Do what you feel is best for YOU! If you feel disgusted or degraded by having to lower your rates because of a few ass hats who say "You will never make it," that's a sure sign, that you don't have to! Funny, cheap hagglers in my local area said the same thing about me in 2008, and here we are 2013 and I am charging double what I did back then lol.

If you want to offer discounts to certain people until you have established yourself, run a P411 or TER Member discount, but I would not cater to just anyone who wants a discount.

...you can post a link to your site (as long as the TER logo is on it as already stated) in your board posts as long as the post is not an ad. You can post an ad on your regional ad board once every 7 days. Check the Self-Help Center (the link is on the upper right of the board under the red & white life preserver) for guidelines on posting an ad and posting links to your site in other board posts.

Welcome and have fun. This is the board for questions. Feel free to ask.

for both hobbyists and escorts.  The Los Angeles board will be your best bet to post on. Use the LA ad board to post your ads.  From time to time a hobbyist will  post on the LA board,  and complain about the lack of escorts, so there's an opportunity for you to build a clientele.  As far as TER, your area is known as the  Gold Coast CA, so you might search and see what other escorts charge.  You may have to travel down to SFV or LAX to jump start your business. Also there will be a LA M&G in June so check the M&G board for the date.

Thank you for the advice.  I had linked my website in my first post but they said it sounded too much like an ad.  I'm not trying to advertise here, I just need feedback and advice.  This board isn't very popular where I am located anyway. and if it is the one I am also on, then, those guys over there are a different class and breed then the men here.  There, they insult, needle, and badger women to manipulate them.

Here, they are more respectful, not as cheap, and listen and follow your pre-set  dos and donts
