Can someone explain what type of background check these girls do? I have my own business, and there's no office to call, etc....so what do they do to check me out, and what are the most common questions or information asked to a new customer?

You will have to look at their websites to see what kind of information they will ask... and maybe send an inquiry or two for more info on how they verify self-employed.

This can still be verified.  Most business (even owner-operated) have fixed assets, directory listings or a website, business licenses, bond insurance, etc.

Up front state to the lady that you are self-employed, and share as much as you are comfortable with.  She will let you know what/if she needs more.
