It depends how much volume you are doing.

Screen carefully and you should be able to avoid LE.

I see no reason not to use any discounts you can get, but usually Priceline beats all those discounts hands down.

I'm at work (research assistant watching NOTHING happen) and I've JUST decided that I'm ready to commit. I'm going to begin "touring" next week.
I only plan to go to a city down the street from me so no major travel difficulties BUT booking hotels... Do I need to stay in a different hotel every night? Should I even bother booking in advance? I have a good military id and a hotel chain discount membership. Is it dumb for me to use those discounts? LOL. I don't want to be on one of those, 'world's dumbest criminal' shows!
I'm so anxious and scared. But SO EXCITED!
Help!

I never stay in one hotel for more than two days & I am low volume. My primary destination is ND which consists of small towns so keeping a very low profile is important. It's important no matter where you are as far as that goes. Additionally, I rotate hotels from one tour to another. I don't want to have anyone get overly familiar with my face. I stay out of sight, out of mind. No complaints, no demands. It helps to tip housekeeping well & require as little work out of them as possible.

Basic guide to follow, is if you're going to stay in the same city for more than 2 days, is to switch hotels.. some ladies won't even stay in the same town for more than those 2-3 days. And although Priceline, etc are cheaper, I've found that if you book through the hotel directly, they will treat you better... & you can use the chains you have accounts with, so after awhile, you'll get free room upgrades, etc.
