Is rs2000 still a good verification site or is there a better way?
Just a quick, non-expert reply so you don't jump the gun on something that won't work out for you.

I think that the usefulness of RS2k varies by region. As I recall, it is more popular in the midwest (Chicago, etc.) than on the coasts.
.
If many of the Providers you are considering take RS2k then that should be a factor for you.

I hope that others will provide more authoritative answers.

I am a longtime relatively UTR provider originally from the midwest. I want to support what impposter is saying -- it is a popular service in that area of the country. As someone presently living in California, I never hear it so much as mentioned out here.
Like so many other things, it's all about location. Every area seems to have it's own customs.
“As I recall, it is more popular in the midwest (Chicago, etc.) than on the coasts. “
Spot on, but I’d go further. It is popular in Chicago. But in other midwestern cities (such as MSP where I am), pretty much nada. P411 remains the choice in much of the country.
I have never heard of that site. Why would you need a verification site?
Long ago when I toured other states, but I never relied on it to screen potential clients.
