Provider age: Not a newbie, but a newbie question

My questions:

1. My understanding is that a provider's profile is mostly set in stone, based on the first review (other than contact info.). I am correct?  

2. If so, then consider the following:

Provider A's profile lists her age as 41-45.
Most recent review was in 2014.  
FIRST review was in 2004.

Is Provider A actually 51-55? (assuming that the first review captured her age accurately, of course

It is true that the profile is set by the first reviewer, but nothing is "set in stone." profiles are changed or updated all the time by the providers themselves as well as any member submitting problem reports (with proof).

What perfectsorm says is true.  but I have often found the age info to be outdated.  It's not hard to find a provider profile that says she is 21-25 years old.  Then you read her reviews and see they go back so many years that either she's really older now or she was under age when she started out.  Not very likely.

Don't assume it is correct. But also don't assume it is incorrect! That's what reading the body of the review, and backchanneling is for.

In the case you mentioned it is possible to get the profile updated via a problem report. I have actually submitted several like that, and they were approved. The fact that they had years of reviews was enough proof for TER. But that only works for the young ones. For example a gal with reviews going back 10 years and an age listed as 18-20, or 21-25. Once you point it out to TER, they will change it since they don't want to be accused of having reviews of minors on the site. It doesn't work for someone who's profile age is listed in the 30s or 40s. (as in the OP's example) In order to prove those in a problem report you would have to find an ad, website, board post etc. that states her age.

Huh? So let me get this straight -- if the first reviewer selects "baby fat," for example, the provider can go in and edit it to "athletic"?
