I have asked this ? a couple times to some individuals but never got a reply-so now it's a board question.

I want to take a pic from my site with my site info through it and post in a message but I can't figure out how to get the URL.  I am pretty savvy at the computer but this has me stumped.

Help!!!

right click on the pic, then on properties and copy the url, paste it where it says picture url.

I am posting the pic of the smiley by your post using that method!

Like Sinful1 said, right click on the picture you want to post.  Select "copy image location".  Paste it in the Picture URL field.

Yes it is possible to "lock down" your photos, but if you are logged into your account, you should have no problem selecting, and posting a picture from your site.

I thought I knew what I was talking about because just yesterday, I approved a message on one of the Canadian boards that had a picture link to a rare-escort site.   The link first looked to be broken, so went ahead and edited the message to ensure she hadn't typed a comma instead of of a period, or something like that.  That wasn't the case, so I went to her site, right-clicked on a couple of her pictures to copy the "image location", found the URL she posted, pasted that URL in the picture URL field, and lo-and-behold there she was!!!

Oh, I forgot to mention that I was using the Mozilla Firefox.  When I right-clicked, I got both a window that said "Function Disabled", AND the option list (Save Image As, Copy Image Location, etc.).  I always use Firefox, it is the only browser with built-in spell checking!

So after seeing your reply, I thought mmmmm...  Maybe it depends on the browser?  Sure enough when I checked today using both Internet Explorer and Apple's Safari, the link was broken, when visiting her site using both, I could not copy the image location.

So you are correct - if you want to post your photo, you will want to have it hosted on the web somewhere other than rare-escort.

BTW - I checked her message with Firefox, the link was broken again.

Always willing to learn,

jazz32

There is no right clicking allowed on rare escorts-
it is upload to their servers- and not yours.. therefore you cannot post it here- there isnt any extension link..

go to Photobucket or image sack to hos tyour images. it is self explanatory.
