Hi! Im Jada. Im a new provider and new to the dmv area. I have been doing this for about a month and im encountering a bit of a problem. Until i have reviews I dont like to charge deposits but its very frustrating when someone said they would be here at 1 and I told someone else I was unavailable and then that guy doesnt show. Some girls have told me just let them both come and worse comes to worse 1 guy can wait outside. I dont know maybe Im too nice fir this industry but i would just feel bad the guy coming all the way here and then me being unavailable. However I feel like no one is being considerate of my time. I am tired of spending the day waiting for people not to show and not being available to others.. Any ideas?

NCNS is the abbreviation for "No Call, No Show." It works both ways. Clients make appointments, change their mind but don't call to notify you of the cancellation and just don't show. Providers book appointments, clients arrive to the area and reach out for final info and hear nothing; the Provider doesn't call them about the cancellation and doesn't show up for the meeting.
.
Search the Newbie board and the General board for "NCNS" and you'll see lots of suggestions and comments.
.
Oh ... I replied to your other post about the DMV area. I suggested that you participate in discussions on the Washington DC Discussion Board but that you can't post an ad on that board, just comments. E.g., if someone starts a discussion about "Looking for petite blond" you can reply to that:
1. "That would be me! ... (contact info)."
2. "I'm petite but brunette. I'd be happy to meet you."
3. "I'm blond but I'm 5'10". I'd be happy to meet you."
Those are considered replies, not ads.
.
Someone might post: "What's a good seafood restaurant in DC?" or "Is the zoo open or is it still closed due to COVID?" Contribute an answer, if you've got one.
