Everyone has to have a first time, right?  So, what will it take for a provider to trust who I am?  Is Date-Check recommended?  Can someone walk me through a typical verification process?

Thanks...

You might also explain to the gal that you are new at this.

Sometimes some open communication from the heart really helps her to feel better about you.

But, please read this Board back for as many pages as you can.  This question is asked and answered once a week, as is every other question you can imagine -- and some you can't, but should.  Also read the Self-Help manual.  Good luck!

There are quite a few...  do not be offended of your first choice does not...  who offer alternative screening for the Newbies, Retired, self-employed or otherwise unable to screen by typical information.   Yes, no matter what, the goal is to give the lady enough information to feel comfortable seeing you.
Be honest, be polite...  be sure you will go through with the meeting if she puts the effort into screening.  It may take some extra back & forth & willingness to give her verifiable information.   Really read up...  read the self-help section, read back on these boards.  Nothing is more reassuring to her than that you know how this works & are willing to follow the rules of the game.

You might look for providers in your area that advertise they are newbie friendly, screening might be lighter.  The 3 main verification sites are DateCheck, Preferred411, and RoomService2000.  Depending on where you are, one might be more popular than others.  Ask around in your area to find the one most often used.  I belong to DC and P411.

Without using one of the verification sites, you may be asked to give up some personal information for her to determine you are safe to see, so be prepared for that.  You will have to give up some personal info to join the verification sites, but once that is done, you should be good to go.  A lifetime membership to DC is only $125, pretty good deal, IMHO.  P411 is a bit more expensive, and don't think they have a lifetime membership anymore.

Hope this helps.
