My take on reviews

the first reviews are always suspect, subject to confirmation from later reviewers.  The reason I feel this way is many of TERs checks are harder to enforce with no history to go on.  So They might be self reviews, BF or Pimp written...  or just plain advertising.  I often see a gal with BBBJ on her profile but later reviewers say that's not offered.  This is one reason you need VIP when researching for your bucket list.
It is generally recommended that Newbies & Risk Adverse see well reviewed providers...  that means providers with a number of good reviews (varies between 6-12) and also some reviews by experienced reviewers who also have written 10-12 reviews themselves.

No, different information in your review will not change her profile page automatically.  You can file a problem report though & TER will see if there is info to back it up.

Writing a critical review can cause some problems for you.  What I do is write a draft right away, then wait a couple of weeks...  you have 90 days...  reread the review, edit if necessary and submit.  The delay makes it so she can not be certain of your identity from the review.  Leave out anything which would identify you.

Just had my first 'session' the other day.  The provider I saw, who will remain nameless for the purposes of this post, had a few reviews on TER, which were fairly positive, and the provider profile said her ads were photo accurate.  Umm, the photos were definitely not real, and the experience was disappointing overall.  Two part question:

1) Are the profiles generally accurate?

2) When I post a review, will it update the information on her profile page (e.g. photo accuracy)?

Would you please give me an honest opinion I am a newbie and I want to get reviews but I want to get them safely but at the same time as you suggested to only seek providers with 10 or more reviews from know hobbiests with 10 or more reviews
so with that being said how do I get reviews and get them safely because to be honest if I was a hobbiest I would not want to seek a provider with out any reviews so any advice on how to get started I would love to know because this is becoming allot harder then I thought it would and I defiantly don't want to be on backpage any longer then I have to the guys are just straight up rude and disrespectful some guy called me the other day and asked me what he could get for $60 I was like are you fucking serious right now ugh like who calls some one and asks that when my ad clearly says any explicit talk our conversation will be terminated
Xoxo kayden

Kayden, There are & will always be guys who want to short a Gal & especially a New one.  You MUST have the nerve...  self respect...  to insist that your rules be followed.  If they cross the line, be polite but hang up.  I wouldn't necessarily block their number...  yet...  but if they become a nuisance, block them.  If they don't respect your phone rules, why would you expect they'd follow your bedroom rules.
It IS difficult to break in to the game.  There are plenty of guys who like to try the new gal.  BUT you need to know how this is done correctly so there are no oddities that make experienced hobbiests suspicious.  Not all hobbiests are so risk adverse.

Participating on the boards...  even as a newbie your posts will not display at once, because all newbies are Moderated & posts must be approved before going live.  You should probably not start threads except on the ad board & make sure you only run 1 ad per 7 days & have the required clickable link on your web site.
But you can reply to posts by others & that gives you some credibility & members get a sense of you.  I have chosen some dates on that basis.
It is widely recommended that New Hobbiests stick to well reviewed providers...  but the hobbiest gets to decide when they are experienced enough to accept more risk.

You should advertise on the board most appropriate to where you'll be available.

To be successful, you need to give good service consistently.  No scams, no gimmicks.  Just one or 2 good reviews & your business can take off.

And have good pictures.  This is your main calling card.  They need not be explicit but taken in total I want to know what you look like naked before I arrive at your door.

I think you should write and submit your review mentioning the problem with the pictures and also mentioning how your experience differed from what others reported.  That gives others a heads up that her services are YMMV ("your mileage may vary").

Changes that you make in the Profile / Review form ("Pictures: not real") do not take effect automatically.
You need to find the "Report a Problem" button on her Profile page. Tell TER what is wrong with the profile (fake pics, etc.) and they will decide whether to change the profile.

If you are new and unknown to TER admins, it make take more than one report to bring about a change, but every comment submitted will help to sway them and make the Profiles as accurate as possible for the next guy

admin to change something if is not accurate; for example, if she changes her rates.

Reviews should be "taken with a grain of salt" looks are subjective and performances can vary.

Your best bet is to see a provider with many reviews, make sure you are VIP to be able to read the "juicy details".

Use the information you read as a general idea of what you think/hope will happen.

On #2 no it won't. You can fill out a problem report, but that does not guarantee a change will be made.

When you click on the reviewer's name in the gal's profile, you will get a list of that reviewer's reviews.  If they give everyone very high marks, that is suspicious.  Go and click on some of his reviews and see if his high marks are out of whack with the other reviewers of that gal.  That will tell you something.

Of course if that gal is the only gal he has reviewed, that is always a clue that it could be a phony review.

The system will never be perfect but with some effort you can significantly improve your odds of seeing deserving providers.

And of course, do feel free to write a review of this gal and set the record straight.

I myself have found the reviews generally accurate, at least with respect to services, if not appearance.

Don't forget about the guys who give out consistently low scores either. If a provider has a string of 8/9 reviews and then a 6/7 shows up, check out the reviewer and see if that's all HE ever gives.

I am regarded as a too generous reviewer, well unless I feel that the lady has been misleading and/or her performance has been lackluster, she is going to get high scores, if I am happy, I am generous. I usually see providers that get high scores as well.

After all is said and done reviews are still opinions, yours will not always be the same as someone else's.

Thanks for the feedback.

I understand there is a good amount of subjectivity in evaluating 'performance' and 'hotness', but determining whether photos are real should be much more black and white.  And I assume there are other guys like me where getting the same girl in the pictures is THE most important thing, and that it would always be called out in the profile/reviews.

Anyway, lessons learned
1) Go with providers with lotsa reviews
2) You get what you pay for...if it looks too good to be true (for the price), it probably is

Reviews are as accurate as anyone's opinion.
As far as pic's not being real and updating the profile, May mention it to TER.  However, before you do there are some questions to resolve.  Where did you contact her through?  Her site? Agency? Back page?  It is always possible the pic and name was stolen from an established provider.  Compare the phone number?
